SkySport24 bring important news from the meeting regarding Mauro Icardi and Napoli. The Partenopei have raised their original offer of 40 million euros including bonuses up to 45 million euro’s with the same bonuses attached. A 6.5 million a year salary will be granted to Icardi should he decide to swap Milano for Naples too. The parties are however no further forward with an agreement over image rights, something Aurelio De Laurentiis notoriously insists are all handed over to the club but it is understood Icardi’s entourage want to manage his image alone.
The 45 million euro offer falls short of Inter’s valuation and they will not settle for a player-cash deal despite showing an interest in Manolo Gabbiadini.

At the end of the day, this is currently not up to neither Wanda nor Maurito, but up to Inter as there is this odd little thing called a contract, which doesn’t expire until June 30th 2019 … maybe ADL should try to offer Thohir a role in one of his movies.

I say exactly the same when Kovacic left Inter, I’m not afraid of losing him (Icardi), I’m afraid who will be playing there. No to direct opponent and still 45M is too low.

So there are reports Napoli will offer 60mil and Icardi wants out after he was told no new contract this yr…. If thats the case then trade the guy, no point in keeping a disgruntled player who won’t give it 100%.

As I’m getting sick of this Wanda’s bitchy attitude, so I would take at least 70 million euros + Gabbiaddini. If they can sell Higuain for 94 million euros, why wouldn’t we can sell Icardi for the same valuation? Icardi was Serie-A top scorer 2015 at the age of 22, while Higuain did that at 28.
