SkySport24‘s Alessandro Sugoni has given updates on the situation of Antonio Candreva. Inter have given in to Lotito’s requests and offered 25 million euros including bonuses for the winger. Candreva hasn’t hidden the fact he’d like a move to the nerazzurri and the signing of the 1987 born player doesn’t mean there will be an end to Inter’s mercato dealings either.

Candreva for 2 – 3 years I have no problem with. Let Sassuolo keep Berardi this season and if rumours are true and he only wants Inter, next year there isn’t a damn thing Rube can do about it. Win Win for us.
Have mix feeling about him. The most important thing for me, as long we didn’t count Naga or Santon or Danilo for crossing from flank, I got no problem with this signing (Serie A experience, decent cross, pacey, not paying 30 mio)
25m including bonuses is like 22+3 or so, i think thats fair for probably the best italian winger (if he would be english in EPL, his price would be 87m). i understand most of you worried because he wont really have any resale value after ~3 years due to the fact he’s 29, but if we manage to qualify to CL at least 2 times out of those 3, thats already worth it

ow man. i can’t believe it. this is very exiting. with a new midfielder, ie. an regista inter would be complete. i have high hopes for this guy as hes stamina is great as well as his shots, crossing and team work. really a perfect player for now. if inter reaches CL, it will pay his price tag. 3mln too much is nothing to wine about. he should have come earlier though as 1 extra month of preparations would be good for adaption to the team style of play. regardless, this is a good transfer even though every one won’t agree

a central midfielder is very much needed as you said, but even after that the team will only be complete in quantity. as for quality… meh :/

yes. i see your point there. but, my hopes is that we can have a similar progress, regarding player purchase, as the last years in the future if CL. mancini have really done wonders as goes for the names by the players in this team. if he will be replaced next year, in which i think he will, simeone will take over. then, my friend, we will se the real inter. i will almost guarantee it, but.. you know, its inter, lol 😛 but seriously, i think it will be ok :)))

Regardless of who’s coaching inter. Inter really need experienced players to bring out the talent in the team and I believe candreva and banega can do that. Given our limitations with ffp, I think inter is doing great so far in the transfer market. Just need a talented regista that has an IQ of someone like cambiasso.
Gabriel Jesus was a dream move for myself as he’s young with amazing potential but a player like that is difficult to purchase, since man city is closing in from the news I have seen the past week.

Completely agree with you!!! Being realistic, the least club that could offer him was inter anyways, since he was linked with clubs like Real Madrid, barca and man city… Clearly we didn’t stand a chance, especially with brazillian players (wanting big money as you mentioned)
I really hope this deal goes through, which I think it will. A lot of you guys are complaining about some of Mancini’s transfer plans, but the only one I see as a bad signing is Yaya. As for players like Candreva, Biglia, and Zabaleta, yes they’re short term, but they’re the exact types of players Inter needs to meet our short term goals. We need CLs next season and we’re not getting it fielding an Under 21 team!

Icardi having Perisic/Eder for the LW/M and Candreva/Biabiany for the RW/M is great because those are the exact types of players he needs around him, work horses with relatively equal scoring and playmaking ability. I think Icardi’s aerial prowess has been under utilized thus far, and having competent crossing ability from Perisic, Candreva, Erkin and Ansaldi could prove to be a nice bonus to our lack of scoring threats.
that’s right I was thinking that too, finally Icardi will get fed just about right and go home happy and throw the D well so she can shut up as well, he might get the golden boot you never know

I’m not saying Biabiany is a world beater, just simply that he can prove effective when called upon. Inter haven’t exactly had squad depth in the past few years and it’s a very welcomed change.

I think what was really lacking for Inter last season was someone to setup perisic, ljajic etc, because these types of players need someone in midfield to make a proper pass that they can run at, Candreva is in the same mold.
Hopefully Banega can add something in that regard.

Is there still an option for Berardi if they don’t qualify for the Europa League? Or even next season? Candreva is fine but we could have used all that money we offered for GJ and used it on Berardi, a young proven Serie A talent.
Ok. Despite all the people complaining about his age, I like this move. A proven, constant player who knows the league and is able to score is what we need. Moreover, 29 is not old, especially in serie A. I don’t know about some of you but Im tired of waiting to get back into the top. We need players that can hit the ground running.

He scored over 10 goals the past 3 season despite often playing in midfield. That’s constant enough for me. Berardi for instance had a drop in form this year compared to the 2 before. I would like Berardi too but if he wants to stay at sassuelo one more year this is good alternative

Candreva, Biglia and Ansaldi are all already have experience in serie A.
Banega is the 4th Argentine in that line-up and he will have easier adaptation in nter of course as an Argentinian. Well this is a fantasy football, but if we really want to sell Brozo, then go for Biglia, he might proves as better option than inflated Joao Mario.
The most worries me is Erkin, he have a worse Euro, following a problematic last season, we can just hope he will prove that Mr. Cross nick name, as Medel proved he’s the Pitbull.
