Stevan Jovetic will go on loan from Inter to Fiorentina as a 100% Inter player.
Despite the agreement with Manchester City, who says the final payment should be when Jovetic plays his first official match of the 2016/2017 season or if Inter is amongst the top 17 in December, Jovetic’s transfer to Inter is considered to be completed after he played his first practice game this summer. All this according to Gianluca DiMarzio.

One more thing, he goes to attack and winger, usually Perisic have to go back to defend, which make me furious, and when Ivan stays in attack, then counter is fatal for us. It’s the easiest way to win a game against Inter, everyone know it.

I don’t understand this move. What is the point if he is a 100% Inter player. To have even less depth at the striker position? Only way this works is if they’re bringing in another striker. I thought they would be focusing on the defense after what we saw against Chievo.

If he re-gains his fitness and abilities he could help Fiorentina to finish above us.. And if he doesn’t and remains injured all the time we don’t benefit from that either.. And if we are paying half of his salaray I really don’t see what is the point of this deal..
So this transfer could either strenghten our opponent while we still pay half of his salary or it could decrease his value further if he gets injured. In a perfect scenario he does good at Fio and we finish above them but when did we see perfect scenario for Inter last time..
It has also crossed my mind that we are confident of getting Barbosa if we are letting Jovetic on a dry loan to a rival, but we will see.

Fiorentina is not stronger than Inter, on par perhaps, but not stronger. We finished above them last season and have only gotten better, while they’ve stayed relatively the same.
