Eder spoke Inter Channel ahead of tomorrow nights clash with Empoli:
“We are happy because we performed at high level and that is important. We will be able to find what the coach wants and how to press teams with the passage of time. The fans appreciate what I do (that i always fight?) during the games? I’m glad they appreciate what I do and my attitude. Even when Icardi scores and we win I keep on sacrificing. It’s normal that you like to score and I always want to score. If we play the games as good as this it’s easy to sacrifice yourself. Empoli? It’s my home, I arrived there as a youngster. In 4 years I have grown. I feel for the city, the club and the president. They have been close to me when I was very young.
We have to have the same desire and play with the same viciousness that we put up with Juventus. If we win against Empoli it would weigh even more than the victory against Juventus. We must show that we have grown as a team and if we can maintain this mentality then we can win against any team. The league is far from over and there are 34 games remaining, it is too early to say where we will end up. We are a strong team, with several talented players . After we make the change of mentality with small teams we can become an annoying team for all, we have a lot of quality. “

Eder has been working his ass off for us. i am glad we kept him. i just wish he was better…lol. hes been solid though foe real.
Eder is good but we can;t expect him to be Ronaldo and that’s not his role. He’s asked to do some dirty work and drag defenders away from Icardi, either by stretching them wide or by cutting in the box as a second striker. I think it would be interesting to see Inter in 3-4-1-2 or 3-4-3 and put Eder and Perisic on at the same time. Perisic and Candreva can track back a bit more and Medel can stay behind and provide cover for when we lose the ball on the attack and they’re caught upfield. Our current fullbacks are half-quality players anyways so we won;t be losing much defensive power. And we have plenty of debt in attack with Jojo, Biabiany and Gabigol so we might as well make the best of it. What do you think guys?

Mancio was also able to get sparks of magic every now and then. I really hope De Boer is able to motivate them for the long run and we continue like this.

It’s easy to get the best of the players against Juve and FDB’s style is easier to apply since they don’t put 10 players behind the ball and wait on the counter. Let’s wait and see if they can do that in the games to come.
