The CEO of Sassuolo, Giovanni Carnevali, returned to the topic of Berardi in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport. Here is what he said:
“Berardi has chosen to remain in Sassuolo, he never said no to Juve. Inter? Maybe they have spoken to his representatives: but not with us. The priority? if Domenico stays with us then we are happy: we can afford it. Otherwise the doors are open to everyone, even Inter. But keep an eye on interest outside of Italy: in July he was also wanted by Atletico”.

For me Berardi and Gabigol will make Inter a strong side in future, so I say yes if we can get him, but we need more work at defence in the market, add to that we need to let go two second strikers looking at the squad currently
It would be nice to have him but now we have Candreva and Gabigol on the right. If he did come he would most likely be benched i think. Our left side needs a good backup to Perisic as Eder and Jojo are not wingers and Biabany wouldn’t be a starter. I also just realized Sansone is no longer with Sassoulo, i liked him to.
I like sansone before he moves to villareal, and now he plays very well in la liga

well i wouldnt consider him luxury signing. but ofcourse full backs is our main issue. nothing should be done before our FBs arent competitive^^
but miangue and the santon today look quite promising. still we are inter and with the history of players like grande zanetti, maicon, chivu, (r. carlos hehe) for these positions we deserve more.

We already have Gabigol on the bench. If you add Berardi to the list it’s two high profile talents on the bench. In two or three years when Candreva starts to fade, yes. Now? There are other, more important issues.
maybe when palacio left us and jojo is sold somewhere..even eder is sold to china maybe…but yeaah FB is our most concern right now and maybe a CB too
If we can manage to make it to the champions league we will need to have high profile talents on the bench (considering Biabiany will move this january or next summer) even now we can see that our bench isn’t capable of half our starting line up
I forgot we have Caprari already, haha.. I guess De Boer will have a good headache with all this possible options
well i dont know what you guys are used to concering inter but i prefere more squad depth in our squad apart from gabigol..

plus since we play europe again(maybe next year ucl) its absolutely no problem in signing him.

Caprari and Gabi will do for the bench. I personally wouldnt like to see Inter holding back talent. Having those two with Eder just in case is more than enough in the attacking department. I wouldn’t mind another quality mid though.
agree with your point that we need to fix FB as priority. But, with the ageing Palacio, this signing might feel right.
With Perisic and candreva i can see him benched… i’m not against signing him but better spend that money on quality fullback, CB and another cheap promising player for squad depth
would be nice. im all in for berardi. and also Niklas Süle from Hoffenheim. Inter scouts had been in germany to watch the game hoffenheim-schalke last weekend. specially central defender Süle.
im from yermany and i have to admit he has everything a CB needs… i would really welcome it if we sign him.
really like how much we go for these constantly good playing youngsters. Süle and Berardi would be excellent addition to our squad. hope at leat one of these signigns will go through.
Next summer we should get him. With Palacio, Jojo, Biabiany prolly gone. Berardi would complete our attack composed of Icardi, Perisic, Candreva, Gabigol, Eder and Berardi. Can’t hide the fact that I’d be super excited to see these guys in UCL.
Hmm Maybe Eder could leave as well to make room for a younger player, like maybe Bernardeschi or maybe Insigne who still hasn´t signed a new contract!

You forgot Roger Martinez. That dude is very talented, has been a goal machine and ready to take the place of Palacio/Eder. Roger Martinez is a light tank version of Adriano. Next summer, Suning will send him to us. Icardi – Perisic – Candreva – Gabigol – Roger would be a joy to see. Fullbacks should become the priority for this winter and summer mercato. Add two more solid players to our weakest positions then FDB will bring Inter to the grande level again.
Is he the guys who’s in China right now. I dont know much about him but if he’s ready for Inter, I dont mind him taking Eder’s spot at all.
But agreed, first we need to reinforce our defense and maybe a DM to replace Melo. Fabinho is perfect as he can play FB and DM.
and we still have caprari next season.. berardi is good, but i think FB and CB should be our priority..
Gossh… thanks for reminding me about him, dude. I totally forgot about Caprari. He played great against us and made Dumbrosio like a serie-C fullback. Caprari and Dimarco would be a joy to watch in FDB attacking formation. Looks like we can start counting the last days of Palacio and Nagatits with Inter jersey. Add Sule and another solid fullback, then welcome the real FDB’s Inter.

I am sure, if Ausilio could offload JoJo and Biabiany next season, while Palacio is getting closer to retirement, and considering that Candreva is getting old, then Inter will try to get him.
Someone here said that we keep Biabiany just for EL quota. Next season Gnou will take that place.
He is young and Italian, Sunning and FDB should be happy with him.
