The problem with Medel is he lack creativity. He’s a Makelele style midfielder, and that position is dead unfortunately. Not saying Melo is any better… he lacks everything!
Medel can pass, he chooses to play it safe. There are players who create and there are players who back them up. Inter can’t play total football just like many other big and strong teams.
The Makelele role will never die. It’s just there’s rarely players good enough to play it. Kante, Casemiro, Busquets are the top defensive midfielders in Europe around now. Which of them can touch Makelele? Model’s not anywhere near…

Played two games online on Fifa 17 so far. Lost the 1st against Bayern, won the second against Roma (at least it was a team on inter level unlike Bayern lol). Glad to see Handa at 87 and Joao Mario at 84 (with updates, wonder what is his regular grade?). Only BS is Icardi, he deserves a higher grade.
