Inter’s new coach Stefano Pioli points the way to the comeback to Champions League. Today Corriere dello Sport believes that Inter has what it takes to reach this season’s only goal: the third place in the championship. Last couple of seasons shows of somewhat sensational comebacks. Roma last season was trailing Inter for a long time but ended 13 points ahead. Also Milan (under Allegri) and Lazio (under Pioli) started their seasons poorly but managed to come back.  “In order to reach the third place, Inter has to collect at least 55 points from the 26 remaining games. This means a 2.11 point average from each game. Difficult but not impossible if you take into account how strong Inter’s roster is.”
