“For sure, we must reduce our roster. We are too many at the moment.” These are words from Sporting Director Piero Ausilio that make Corriere dello Sport predict Inter mercato in January. Gabigol will most likely leave, the destiny of Ever Banega a bit more uncertain though. Everton has shown some interest, but nothing concrete yet. Possible players to sign are still Darmian and Criscito and in June Inter have their eyes on Atalanta’s Conti. Pinamonti will renew his contract on his 18th birthday (May 19th, 2017) when Italian laws allow him to become a professional.

plz give Banega a least six more months, can’t believe we kept Flopdogbia for more than a year and we would be kicking a better player out in less than 6 months.
Inter is sick, and this is one of its syptom.
Inter is the best club in the World at Managing their players. Barca and Madrid should be jealous of us.
*obvious sarcasm*

after this Im not surprised
Banega is a true AM. Pioli can’t push him to defend with his life. That’s why he lacks of playing time, not because he sucks. 3-5-2, 3-4-3, 4-2-3-1 will not accommodate Banega’s flairs. It should be 4-3-1-2 or 3-4-1-2. Too bad Gabigol has turned into Gabigone if not we can put him in front with Icardi. Pioli should try Eder as Icardi’s partner and Banega behind them. Broz and Joao Mario will be the dynamic duo. Icardi has gone missing lately because he needs a partner to break the zonal marking.
I hate to admit this but this is the strongest lineups we have now as we can completely eliminate our zombies out from the squad:

jovetic needs more playing time also
If they offer us 15-20m for Banega i would let him go. He really hasnt been a factor. Looks like Italian football doesnt suit him.
Agree.. but considering we got him on a free we won’t get more than 10-15 I think…
For your own good, just leave this club. I believe your ability.
No body appreciate your ability in Inter. They think we are a club which full of players like Ronaldo or Messi. You are nothing compared to Palacio. Palacio is a legend with a lot of medals. You? You are just 20 years old player who knows nothing about football.
So, for your future, please leave this club asap.
Looks like those who play football aren’t welcome in this club.
when did Gabi play football the last time? 6 months ago or something… 2 coaches have evaluated him and both thinks the same; the boy isn’t ready – whatever that means.
The same coach who thinks our idiot players are good players. Where is he now? Sacked.
He played the last time – a full match – at home in Brazil for his national team I guess or for Santos can’t remember whether he played a game or two after the OL.
Playing 16 min’t sometime in Sep/Oct. doesn’t count in my book! Frank and Pioli both agreed; he´s not ready for Italian football – physically he should be fine, so it gotta be mentally or tactically
I don’t believe in FdB judgement after I saw how Brozo play.
Mentally/Tactically? Really? Even for playing in the last 5 minutes when we leading 2 goals? We have serious management problem here.
We got huge problems in the management – and watching Roma against Milan, it really makes one thing what Sabatini could do at our club with our budget, but it ISN’T the management who chose the players who play, the coach does!
Yes. So we both agree that our management is suck.
Yep no one can say otherwise! They (Ausilio and Gardini) don’t know how to spend the money we get in… or how to off load players.. or to have a long turn plan like Sabatini had at Roma!
If you believe our coach judgement. Then, our owner and our directors is idiot people who willing to throw away million of dollars to buy not ready player, rather than buy good defenders/DMs.
Yes I do think that’s one of the main reasons for Mancini quitting and why Suning is seriously thinking about sacking Baldini and Ausilio – why spend 30 mil on a player who´s not ready (Gabi Jesus is still playing in Brazil and will only join City in January, and he seems MUCH more ready as a player than what GAbi showed in Brazil).
BTW it wasn’t Suning who brought him – Inter, the club and in the end Ausilio did!
lol Gabriel Jesus has not shown more in the brazilian league than Gabigol has.
In the league and in the 2 national teams – yes he has… he was a star at the summer’s OL not really Gabi”gol”…
Nonsense, Gabigol is far more experienced, has almost 2x more games and goal in brazilian league.
None of them have played enough in the senior NT yet for it to be reasonable to pass any real judgement.
Okay maybe you’re right – just trying to figure out what is happening with him. He’d have two very different coaches in 5months but both have come to the same conclusion; he is STILL not ready to play… technically we know he is, he’s training well – so are both coaches saying and Ausilio as well so psychically he’s also ready, so it has to be something else.
It’s the case of trying to make a player what he is not. He’s an all-out attacker, and weakish defensively. IMHO I don’t care if my striker sucks defensively, his job is to score and nothing else. Was Ronaldo not ready with Inter because he hardily if ever passed the center line.
The problem is the formation. If Perisic-Icardi-Candreva start with the lackluster wing backs you can’t put Gabi on unless there is a big lead. You can’t have Icardi and Gabi playing behind him because that would entail Gabi to have to track back to get the ball.
Until Inter gets a registra, and 2 good wingbacks I don’t think Gabi will see any playing time. With the positions mentioned above, Inter could play a 4-3-1-2 and have Gabi play just off of Icardi, until then unless one of Peri/Candr get hurt he’s not playing much.
Football has changed a lot since the days of Ronaldo (who btw very often started his runs from the wings and used his speed to move inside and come from the behind.). and today every striker in the world works very hard defensively too!
Gabi was perfect for the 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 FdB played because he used to play on the right wing for Santos/national team and used to cut inside and blast with his strong left foot, but even with that system he didn’t get to play…
No, Suning was the one who wanted him as a gift. That was also the reason why he played in Bologna game. Because Suning wanted him to play.
I was mostly reffering to Banega. If he isn’t ready to play in this trash squad then I don’t know what to say.
He’s a fine player and technically the strongest of our players but he is a luxury player, someone who doesn’t do anything when we lose the ball – even Icardi does more defensive running than him, and that simply isn’t good enough and won’t work in any big team in the world. Today everyone has to do his bit defensively too!
Still, Sneidjer didn’t do much defensively either, but he had his passing and knew how to pas the ball right away, Banega keeps the ball way too long and always takes 3-4 touches before passing it which slows the hole attacking movement down.
I’d sell him and invest the money in Biglia, who’s much more suitable with Mario and Broso in front of him!
we also sold kava and shaqiri they were great footballers

damn it why didn’t we sign ljajic …..fucking mancini
Sad.. Jovetić will shine wherever he goes at the end. Only then will some people realize that he is a complete modern forward who never got a chance here.
right on mate you really know football and can recognize talent, my heart is still torn for ljajic also, he was so awesome for us
not in man city he didn’t!
He was always on the bench, just like here. If he goes to a team like Fiorentina who will give him a chance to play with continuity then he will be a star again.
Nagatomo, Kondogbia, Dambrosio, Melo, Santon, Biabiany, Ranocchia, and I just hear Banega, Brozovic and Gabigol?
U forgot Gandpa-lacio.
Melo and Palacio arent relevant, their contracts expire in the summer anyways.
Not Broso – just singed a new contract… Melo’s doing fine but the rest; okay!
There are several articles about brozovic could leave in january, even after the renewal..
I know, but they are mainly written by Tutto! He’s agent stated yesterday that he is happy at Inter and is not leaving.
Kova was also happy, but we still sold him. Happy does not mean won’t leaving.
No I know, but Broso is showing everyone what a great – still young player (just turned 24 last month) he is – Kova never showed anything.
Never showed anything because of the coach, not because he didn’t have anything. And he went to RM.
How about Brozo that has good performance and young? It’s only about the money. If the money is good, the he will leave. Doesn’t matter if he is happy or not.
Yes I know – every player is a messenary today. That´s why I want us to focus on Italians – the want to stay in Italy at an Italian big club and feel proud when the put on a big Italian club’s shirt.
Mazzarri did everything he could to find the right position for Kova – he played him as a regista, box-to-box and as an attacking midfielder but he never showed much… He was sold because of a very good offer (30 mil) that covered the price we paid for Kondogbia a player that started out very promising. Now Kondog could leave and we could spend his money on someone else…
Someone else like Rincon? It’s not an upgrade. In the end he will be garbage player that we can’t sell.
MAybe you´re right and for sure you´re right in the “sell in the end” thing, but that isn’t the idea either. We need someone ready to come in right away and stabilizes our midfield and to do the dirty work behind Mario and Broso… And Rincon fits that bill (the dream would be Biglia of cause).
exactly, we have a bunch of deadwood who are useless but played all the time and another new player who never even get chance to prove themself and get sold or kick out
