Sporting Director Piero Ausilio used the example of AC Milan player Suso to explain what could be the future of Gabriel Barbosa. According to TuttoSport, Barbosa could do the exact same thing that Suso did, move to Genoa on loan. “A loan deal with Preziosi’s club would be an ideal solution for a number of reasons: Genoa is close to Milan and their 3-4-3 model could see Barbosa as an offensive winger. From the player’s point of view this option is to prefer since Genoa is a mid-table team, not a “small” team that fights to avoid relegation”.
At the same time, Tomas Rincon would go in the opposite direction and could be a good reinforcement to the midfield if Gary Medel would be moved to the defence on a permanent basis. “At nearly 29, the player wants to experience a big club. His contract expires 2018 and Rincon doesn’t seem to want to renew. His value is around 8 million euro and his current salary of 750.000 euro could rise to 1.5 million should he go to Inter”, says TuttoSport.

Kondogbia is heading out in January .. Gnou isn’t ready yet – simply too young and should leave on loan… I’d like Biglia but maybe he’s too expensive and Rincon has done well this year playing in a system like ours
K-Dog’s departure is still a false rumor. Moreover, I do believe Suning will not be happy to see him go now. Maybe loaned out like Gabigone, but not this winter. It’s quite funny to see many people keep praising Kessie but complaining Gnou’s age. Give him enough playing time to develop like Kessie and you will see that they are equal in talents. They are just like the younger and raw version of Michael Essien and Yaya Toure. We have to be patient with our jewels like Gnou, Pinamonti, Miangue.
If we can get Rincon 5-6 million euros that would be acceptable as his contract is one year left and he will be 29 years old next month. More than that, don’t think so.

I kinda understand the club’s point of view. Clubs don’t sell there best players mid season at least not top clubs. So we get someone to replace Medal in midfield who is decent and low priced until June.
That would be a very smart move. gabi would get playing time, learn how to play in Serie A, he´s gonna play in a similar system as ours (or the system we seem to be using NOW, things may change next summer), and Genoa is a great place for youngster to grow.
Rincon would be fine player to get in and play next to Broso in the middle of the pack moving Mario forward.
