On the second day of the mercato, another Atalanta player is ready to move (Mattia Caldera already left for Juventus for 25 million). This according to local newspaper L’Eco di Bergamo who reports that Roberto Gagliardini will become an Inter player for 30 million euros.
Source: L’Eco di Bergamo

With 30+25 Million at hand by end of season.
Atalanta be like:
“I’m rich, beeeech!”
Imo, it Just like kondo’s deal, kind of deal that we made not bcause we need it but bcause we dont want our rival close it.
i think we will keep using the 3-4-3 formation and dont forget medel will be cb when he returns from injury, and candreva is smashing it right now as a right wing back
fuck no i dont like this move, spend the money on kessie
to slip the last minutes so we can get relegated again
What about using the 30M for Rodriguez?
At this rate that will not gonna happen
Come on man! Don’t be this pessimist. The guy has it all, just needs to adapt.
Lets hope he will settle well with the team immediatly like j mario
Why is everybody here complaining about the price for this deal??
Prices has gone up and we have the money like it’s nothing so maybe just be happy that Suning is willing to invest in this team.
Time of being poor is over and the whole football world has changed. Get used to it.
We get future Azzurri player and the team is getting stronger all the time. Left sided fullback Next please!
The only atalanta player i would like to see wear this black and blue shirt is frank yaniek kessie. He will fit in every kind of midfield area that inter need
Bit off topic, if we can sell kondogbia I think we should aim for franck kessie. He’s an amazing young player. From serie a too
We should aim him when he was loaned in crotone, our scout watched him a lot but no move from inter. Smh
Shame
We have good scout but only trust it when media confirm it.
Yeah, but we did good with brozovic and kovacic deal
thats anomaly ^^
30M for unproven youngster would be a steal!!
Grab it inter, even 50M would be a good deal!
Lol
turn this guy into a center back lol he’d probably start, be beast (only watched him twice or thrice).
and 30 mil is that expensive if you believe he’s good. Most players these days are sold for 15 mil more than they would be if it was years ago before the Bale deal lol
Wow, guys. Stop criticising this deal, these are the prices nowadays and we should get used to them, even Rubentus paid 25m for Caldara, another unproven player from Atalanta. I watched Gagliardini this season in some matches and his passing and tackling are insane, I think he’ll fit very well as a regista, there’s no need to criticize him instead wait to see him in action in our shirt, you only think about Flopdogbia, but you also said that Joao Mario is gonna be a flop too and he is one of our best players and he still needs time to addpat to italian football.
idk, 30MM is too much… Atalanta is having a great season but suddenly they are rich…
Good they deserve it, With the quota change last year it only made sense for teams to rack up on italian talent. easiest way for low italian teams to build wealth.
Im affraid he just one season wonder.
When team having good time, everyone in that team will look like worldclass player, but they dont. Only 1-2 guy that really have things to be come big players. Lets hope gagliardini is one of that players.
You know what, inter at the moment is like a poor person who just won a lottre. Waving money unwisely. Dont they have already learn by gabigol case? I know he’s more likely has less adaptation to do but still it’s too risky to put this youngster as our regista at the moment. Not to mention his price definitely over price since he got only a couple of good matches. Different story with verratti, even if we soend >50m it’s still worthed considering his experience in such a young age.
Err…I don’t see him will be played as regista. He much more likely same as Brozo.
Really stupid bargaining. I thought 15 million. He’s just one season sensational. Inter should bring Benassi. Again stupid buying 30 million just like Gabigol.
Fullbacks?
one year ago, no body notice him, and now he is 30m? how about no
I didn’t know Inter can have two bench players (Barbosa and him) for β¬30m. I guess Gagliardini won’t be a starter, but still, how about fullbacks or maybe another centre-back? But, at first, get rid of rubbish: 1-2 fullbacks, Rano, Melo? and unneded ones (Jovetic, Biabiany, Palacio).
RUBENTUS!!!
Mattia Caldera is a Referee… Now it make sense to me… RuBentus
Didn’t get it
Was a joke, caldera is a referee and player last name is caldara, not Caldera like the referee last name. Mi primera lengua es el EspaΓ±ol tal vez eso influyΓ³, saludos!
π
i like young italian but not for 30m.
what do usually pay for young Italians?? lollll
your comment sounds really wrong..
If only we play our young players consistently there’s no doubt we can produce a player of Pirlo quality. Smaller teams aren’t afraid to play their youngster and they eventually developed into good players. If I’m not mistaken, Vieri was an Atalanta youngster right?
smaller teams have no burden though.. their target just to stay in serie a.. we’re inter, we always aim for top 3..^^
Bilan did…And they success. really2 Pazza Inter.
Bilan did that because they are poor and dont have any other choice
What I mean is in trusting young Italian players. Inter already did with Murillo, K-dog, Brozo, Icardi and Joao Mario. But in young Italian players? Well, hope I’m wrong. Besides, I also hope Pioli is the right man to develop young players. I’m still follow Pinamonti and DiMarco progress.
they dont planned it that way, they just do desperate way to solve their problems n they get their luck for that.
i mean look at Miha situation when he coach milan, without financial support from management n have no future either in there, left him with no other choice.
i believe we have that momentum at stramacioni era, but we missed that chance.
theres no presure on small team, while in big team like inter you just cant tolerate one little mistake.
Our chances of getting into CL are 0 if we don’t do something about the defense. And if we don’t reach it say goodbye to at least one of our high rated stars. I don’t mind getting Cagliardini, but it wasn’t supposed to be our biggest priority right now.
Agreed
Inter have a goal of getting more young italians into the squad and right now the options are limited and Juventus have the same goal and just bought Caldara. So it seems like Inter just hit the panic button and splashed out cash to fight of competition from Juventus.
Ausilio 20.11.2016 “We must sell before buying”. http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/inter-milan-chief-piero-ausilio-we-must-sell-before-buying-4155826
Ausilio today: “argh fuck it – too difficult to sell deadwood. It is much more fun to use β¬27m on a gamble” (sarcasm may occur)
i see…So next summer must be Verratti and Berrardi. Damn, who cares if they don’t play as starter.
Saying argh fuck it and doing things without thinking them through doesn’t set a good business model. The options now are either the Chinese are going to invest a shit load of money till the summer, or we’re selling one of our starters (like the Brozo/Banega to China rumor), or we’re simply not taking anyone else during the summer transfer window, in which case we’re pretty much fucked.
no doubt Brozo will be sold to finance new signings.. especially since we are apparently spending 30mil on a low priority player and not on a FB
Maybe..still just rumour though. It still using loan wih obligation to buy.
Both Murillo and MIranda have been inconsistent this season and with Miranda not getting any younger this is great signing. Hopefully this young lad delivers. The other two signings must be a LB and a DMF.
Pioli wants to use Medel as CB, this will allow him to do that. He doesnt believe Medel is a mid. I agree on that. Now we need a LB and a CB.
I hope hes’nt the new kondogbia
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kFVVRb_rTs
I still believe in Kondo. He showed what he got against Lazio.
You must believe in Icardi too..XD
Yeah, I was angry on him after that “Argentine Gangs to kill the ultras” incident. Then I changed my mind and got used to like him again.
I think we already have one “Gagliardini for 30 million”, but his name is … kondogbia. our bench is going to be too short for 30 mill players.
Lol.. i am sad to say this but the reality is kondo worth 40 mil
yes true, and even worse … inter school of football ..
He’s good, same think I said about Joao Mario when people were against him, he will prove u wrong.
The difference is joao made really good performance for years in sporting and in euro, he even put pogba in his pocket in the final, this gagliardini has just proven good in months
But a lot of people in here were disagree with me at that time saying same thing that u saying in flipped argument he only had one good performance not worth it the millions.
I’m just against the price. 30 million can buy 2 young promising players.
True but if that’s what they want give them and hope we get into champions league. I know it’s risky but we need an Italian in that midfield I rate this guy higher then anyone in this league in that specific area. And let’s support inter all this negative attitude in her please let’s support Gagliardini I promise he’s worth it.
Did u watch a lot atalanta match bro?
Yes it’s just that I have being sport they show all the Italian games it’s messed up. Every single game even atLanta vs empoli
I will trust u then if u say so
Do you think he will be played as starter? Just in case like if happen like Gabigol again. Btw her is term for woman not man. Man is his.
Yes I think Italians are tougher. I meant here not her sorry I was talking about a situation not a person.
I never said shit about joao, i was on the same side with u about him, the one who disagree u now is the one who keep saying he is not worth his price, and i consider them as fools who are not brave enough to admit they were wrong.
Lol
If he turns out to be mediocre like bertolacci i will start ausilio out agenda
Too much for an unproven player…
yes, with that money we can get William Carvalho.
He would be good anchor dmf for us
Remember Mario. Have faith. He’s good.
Mario is not unproven… only unproven in Serie A..
Yope u r right, I believe in Ausilio.
So I guess we’ll see him play 15 minutes the next year before we ship him Off to Liverpool π
Huge risk. I like getting young Italians but we need to be SMART when buying players. I am really impressed by how Napoli has managed to create a great young midfield with little money(compared to our spendings), I wish we had the same success. They bought 4 extremely talented young midfielders in the last few years: Allan, Zielinski, Jorginho and Diawara. They paid total of β¬50m for those 4 players, averaging β¬12.5m and per player and not one of them cost more than β¬14.5m.
Thats because there is no pazza napoli

I personally want Duncan and Benassi back.
Right Napoli has a strong squad with few or none investment at all, but inter is just as usual “moving the market” huge investment are made in players that if you really realize just 2 out 10 transfers work for us, that’s kind of low…
