The evidence is really piling as more and more Italian media outlets confirm that Wolfsburg’s Swiss international Ricardo Rodriguez has decided on a transfer to Inter.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports on his homepage that the player prefers Italy and Inter to Paris Saint-Germain as the Nerazzurri have already contacted the player’s entourage and are hoping to secure a deal now for when the transfer window opens in June. The player has a minimum release fee clause set at €22 million but a deal could be brokered at €20 million.
Tuttosport also confirms that Rodriguez wants a move to Inter after having declined interest from Chelsea and Arsenal. According to the Turin-based newspaper the Inter hierarchy are pessimistic about being able to sign him during this transfer window as they first have to raise funds for such a transfer. Should Ever Banega once again not feature in Stefano Pioli’s plans when the season kicks-off again this weekend, the Argentinian playmaker could be shipped off to China for around €30 million, raising more than enough to activate the player’s €22 million minimum release fee clause.

Actually, I was confirming your guessing – stating that was exactly the case 😉 And the smiley realy just made it seem – in my humble opinion – that you were laughing at your own joke – which was the truth here.
But nevertheless, it’s difficult to determine jokes, irony, smileys and what not.
What’s not difficult to guess is that you’re dead serious about the competition thing, because there is none 😀
So Im glad we finally unterstand each other 😉
I think he want to reunite with perisic so badly lol
if we sell banega, I swear Im gonna loose it
If we sell Banega then we need new DoF. It will be a proof that Ausilio cannot sell players, he only can buy players using a lot of money for transfer fee and offer high salary.
I know things aren’t always this easy, but maybe offering Wolfsburg €2m for a rest of season loan with an obligation to buy for another €20m at the end of the season, totaling their asking price of €22m, would both tempt Wolfsburg to sell now and also allow Inter to have him sooner rather than later.
I read somewhere, UEFA warned Inter management, that will consider every loan with obligation to buy deal as permanent transfer!
Well, technically it already is a permanent transfer. The selling team is just agreeing to receive the bulk of the transfer amount at a later time to help Inter manage our finances, so I’m not sure how that will effect us in any significant way, unless they force us to pay upfront.
Maybe i wasn’t express myself clear enough. UEFA warned us, that if this winter transfer window, we think to make any transfers using loan with obligation to buy formula. They will count the whole amount like is spend now. And this could seriously affect our agreement, that our budget supposed to be balanced at 30th June 2017!
Do you have a link to this article
Unfortunately, I didn’t remember where exactly read this, but i read something similar several times! I can’t post a link, but I’m almost sure that this is true. And probably Gagliardini’s transfer delay is for the same reason!
The deal now doesn’t affect FFP until years end which Inter is in the black (profit), so really it bares no weight on a loan + obligation to purchase. UEFA can suck a fucking Eagle’s dick to be honest.
That sounds a bit ridiculous, we’re not doing anything illegal, and UEFA can’t just make up special rules against us because we found a loophole. They’re corrupt, but that is taking things to a whole new level that I don’t think even they can get away with!
What are you waiting inter, grab this opportunity, use loan with option to buy scheme or if must loan with obligation to buy, we need LB not CM, so forget about the unproven gagliardini, this is what we need right now
If Lord naga still here in 1 or 2 months even rodriguez will be benched, lol
I don’t understand why Rodriguez would want only Inter, but then I see two advantages over any of these clubs:
1. Starting XI.
2. He knows Perisic, and maybe Medel? RR has Chilean heritage I believe…
Tbh, I would prefer only him in winter than bringing two centre midfielders or something.. Please, make it happen!
I dont think he knows medel, they dont play in the same national team and never played in the same league
The only player should be sacrificed is kondogbia to mske Rodriguez deal complete. Inter still need banega. While kdog have potential value higher than banega also he dont fit on inter style
We can sacrifice jojo, palacio, melo, santon, naga, biabiany, rano. Unfortunately, Ausilio cannot sell.
When Di Mario is reporting it, it gotta be true!
Actually, he should prefer an Italian club because of just that..
Thats what Im saying.
No, that is what you are implying, maybe? “maybe hes home sick, just 3 hours from milan to zurich”. Sounds like your guessing. If not, you should perhaps rephrase 😉
If he want too play in Inter and not in any other club because it’s closer home.. isn’t he preferring Inter then?
Thats what Im guessing in my comment?
Sure…
not to burst any bubbles but people who actually follow rodriguez will know his form has been dipping for the last couple of years now
still 20mil for a player that is world class at his best is probably still a good deal
The whole Wolfsburg team form has been dipping, but personally I think he’s still one of the best young FB available on the market and we definitely need reinforcements there.
Now don’t let this one decent back up to nagatomo go!
€22m is quite reasonable for a player of his quality when you consider today’s prices, glad to know he wants to move to us too
