You need to understand the situation. You know what a pain in the ass to have a coach like mancini especially if you dont give what he ask. Exactly my thoughts. I don’t know why a coach would choose to field Palacio over Gabigol in 2017…ever. But management choosing to keep Palacio at the club is accepting that it might happen

Banega isn’t a winger. We basically have Icardi, Perisic, Eder, Candreva, Gabigol for 3 positions. in the ideal world that is enough strength in depth to still be one of the strongest forward departments in Serie A
Jovetic, Palacio etc are just squad fillers now. they’re not even good bench options any more
