If Inter are to have even a remote chance of finishing 3rd then a defensive midfielder is absolutely needed. Problem is that there are many good ones available during the winter that Inter can get with a loan deal.

It is difficult decision. Kondogbia showed something like 3-4 good games for season and half till now. This is insufficient for the player who been bought for almost 40 mln. Plus, he is the second highest paid player after Icardi. If we can ship him off to China for 35-40 mln and bring Rodrigez and Gustavo now, i wouldn’t mind but only for Gustavo is not enough. Also i think we shouldn’t spend more than 15 mln for Gustavo. He’s declining and won’t be solution for more than 2-3 season even less maybe.

Kondo was a bad investment, so we should aim to get as much as possible with his transfer, but won’t be that much-
