Marco Verratti could become the next marquee signing for Inter.
Suning are absolutely intent on beating competition from Juventus, but in order to do so they may have to pay 78 million euros (transfer fee) and 7,5 million per season salary. However, Suning are financially sound and could sanction such a deal to send a message to rivals.
Inter will soon open contact with Verratti’s agent, Donato Di Campli, who has a good relationship with Juventus (he represents also Orsolini of Ascoli, a player near to joining Juve), but the Bianconeri will not be keen on spending 80 million on a player they could have got a few years ago for 10 million.

Ronaldo was a bargain. Look at the number of goals he has scored. Madrid haven’t won anything like as much as they should in the last 7 years but without CR7 they’d be out of the UCL places in la liga tbh.

Compared with all that Verratti isn’t worth it at all. BUT 1. he’s italian therefore homegrown. 2. he’s a regista so fits the style we seem to be going for 3. he is pretty handy in a scrap unlike so many creative midfielders who just dive at the 1st sign on trouble. Not saying Verratti is the best way to spend 80million. But it’s sure not the worst. And we now have more credit than we did before Suning arrived

The agent of his said at Christmas time, that he knew for a fact that Suning were preparing a huge offer for Veratti in the summer and he “confirmed” as well that “Suning is planing to revolutionize the transfer market!”
BTW; I read today that Barca stated that they can’t afford to give Messi a new contract with the same salary as Neymar and Suarez (they get 24 mil euro a new but the pore Messi only 22 I think the numbers were). The only way for Barca to reach these numbers for Messi too were to increase the club’s revenue which is pretty hard to do from now on and til next summer!
