After news about Matteo Darmian looking for a house in Milan broke, rumours have started that the Italian would join Inter in January. However, Manchester United’s asking price isn’t compatible with Inter’s situation given the FFP restrictions imposed by the UEFA. From United’s point of view, Darmian would go on loan with a forced option to buy, something Inter cannot accept. At most, a formula shifted in time as stipulated in the deal with Atalanta Gagliardini could work, but this format isn’t accepted from the English side.

I understand Italians are back in fashion with the new management but Rodriguez is better and more needed by us than Darmian,particularly at the same price tag and by the way,Vrsalyko is still way superior to young ,decent but not amazing Conti.
Italians is a good general idea,as long as they are really good Italians,see Gagliardini,Candreva or ..Verratti,Belotti etc.
Darmian is ok thou,I guess,if he goes back to Torino form, 2 seasons ago.

Indeed but he has played as a LFB for many games and done a fine job.. Guess it was just a bad day..
Still would be an upgrade if compared to D’Ambrosio. And If we decide to buy 2 other great FBs (R.Rodriguez, and a RB? don’t have anyone on mind atm) he could be used as a backup/rotation player on both sides.

I agree that Aurier is a beast, a great player. He does seem to have some problems out of the pitch, that might be the only worrying part. And also does PSG want to let him go.
