Ivan Perisic and Mauro Icardi have each been handed 2 match bans. The Croatian for his sending off and Icardi for his actions after the final whistle. Inter will however decide whether or not to appeal each suspension after reading the referees report they have confirmed with a statement on the club website.

Have to say both have to learn a lessen here – wether they like it or not they can’t behave like that! Perisic was showed a yellow because he shit-taked the ref and Icardi did the same thing after the game; simply not good enough boys – even though it shows a commitment and that they care about the club!

Thats ubsurd two match ban for arguing with the ref, this jappens every game now they want give a ban, what a joke. I said before Juve is going to look for the fouls and ref is going to look for any reason to give out cards. Nothing to do about the goal though everything happened just right for Juve on that
I personally don’t blame Icardi and Perišić for being pissed. Rizzoli was horrible in that match and 2 ex-referees already called him out on mistakes and the penalty he didn’t give to Inter. Add to that his incredible inconsistency with calls(calling fouls on clean tackles, how did Gagliardini not get a yellow?, not calling dives etc) it was trully horrible. And the straight red on Perišić for insults? Yeah ok he should just show intent of headbut like Bonucci and walk away without even a yellow card. In the end it’s a shame since they are 2 starters and absolutely crucial to our play, but its hard to blame them for the actions they made in the heat of the moment.
