This season reminds me of the 11/12 one, where gasperini was a complete
disaster initially, got sacked and Ranieri took over. Then we had a
decent run with Ranieri until late january when everything turned to
complete shit again and Ranieri eventually got sacked and Strama took
over.
The only difference is that De Boer got more time than Gasperini, so
there is no time for a “strama” to take over now at the end.
Pioli and Ranieris time at Inter are quite similar. Ranieri was sacked
after 25 games, Pioli will (hopefully) be sacked after 26 games in
charge.
Pioli shouldn’t be sacked for just anyone. Eventhough I hate him these days, but unless we can get someone on Simeone/Conte level, we should keep him.

Pioli sealed his faith when he chickened out against Rubentus. Before that we were steam rolling everyone, and players were confident. Then he changed the winning team formation to three in the back. Funny things is, he changes the winning team, but doesn’t change the losing team.
Medel is not a quick defender, Dolefeu exposed him, yet Pioli started him again against Fiorentina quick attackers, just play Murillo.
And Yuto Nagatomo?! Seriously… Play a Primavera player not him.

Everyone was praising Pioli after he turned things around for months. Don’t be a dick and act like you didn’t praise him too.
I called him out when he chickened out against Rubentus. When he prefer GrandpaLacio and Biabiany to Gabigoal, and when he doesn’t bench underperforming Medel, Perisic, and Candreva in the games that they were bad. And finally when he started playing Nagashito.
These are all signs of being a wuss, and you don’t sit on a big club’s bench if you are a wuss!
Don’t care when you called him out. No way did you expect these results after that match.
So don’t act like you are better than the ones who supported him by calling them out.
It doesn’t matter that I did say that Piolihas to prove that he can win against big teams too when we were doing well now.
What matters is why someone like Nagashito is playing in a league like Serie A not even as a bench player, as a starter.
Maybe it’s the fans fault. Italian fans are absolutely the worst. Fiorentina’s most valuable player (whome is young and make mistakes) Bernandeschi, was booed by their own fans. Every single coach coming to Inter, Mancini, De Boer, and Pioli becomes afraid after a while, eventhough they are on a win streak.

I disagree with most of it. Look at Rano, a pure shit in our team that is known as top 3 mid-season transfer in EPL.
– Kondo was much better than Gaglia in the past couple of games, and he’s better than 80% of serie A box-to-box mids.
– Ansaldi is far better than Nagashit.
– Eder is still a decent player, whom does well for Italian national team (one of the best bench players in serie A)
– Medel is not an idiot, but is not known for his speed, it depends on coach’s abilities to cover his players weaknesses with his tactics.
Our midfield was being ran over in this game, because Fiore’s high pressing line, Pioli had the half time to respond (bring Mario back play 4-3-3 instead of 4-2-3-1), yet he did NOTHING. Our team still can’t press as a unit, the opposing teams easily bring the ball to our half. These are things that can be addressed by a coach.

A few flashy dribbles that do not end in anything positive is not good. Ever since Gaglia’s form dipped, our midfield died. They can press as much as they want because one midfielder is out of form, leave it to Kondo to get exposed by that.

Dude come one. Milan is doing better than us, and their squad is complete shit. For the Medel’s case the coach is at fault for not setting up midfield correctly to cover for a slow defender. How did Chielini deal with MSN that all were far quicker than him? It’s their coach for setting up the team right. Defending is a collective approach. If you deal with the holes in the midfield they cannot run at Medel full speed. In addition, Murillo is speedier, use him if necessary. I guarantee if we put any defender in this team, he would look bad!
