TV journalist Mario Sconcerti was interviewed in RAI 2 and talked about the difficult situation Inter is in at the moment: “When I saw tonight’s game it struck me that Inter isn’t a team. Every player thinks of his own stuff and there is no solidarity. Inter lost the 11th game, Pioli has lost six of them. Pioli didn’t lose, Inter failed.”

I dont know where Inter could head up if changing coach every year, every time bad results came, the usual things happen by blaming tge coach. Just give Pioli one full season to show his capabilities, meanwhile in the same time, management must learn that figures like milito, cambiasso,& samuel, are very urgent for Inter squad!!!
No one questioning and blaming Ausilio yet? seriously?
I’ve been admiring and defending Ausilio a lot. But his recent renewal, made me questioning once again the mismanagement in the top level since Ausilio had a big responsibility in this chaos as well. I can summarize our mistakes in the mercato: hired unproven and inexperienced managers, failed to clear out all junks asap, renewed those zombies and not getting solid full backs for years. Sorry Ausilio, you were not better than Branca.
send that midget chilean to another team. he sucks ass. too slow. cant .defend, why on earth would you depend on him and not give murillo or santon a chance? sack this coach im done with this shit.
LOL Inter arent playing like a team? Isnt it Piolis job to make them play as a team?
Senile old fart.
Pioli sucks as a tactician, especially for big/important games. Our defense stinks (IMO that’s the main problem) and if Pioli is still coach when we fix it, I still see us dropping pts due to him.
Bullshit..if u see the defense getting raped game in game out 5-6 games in a row you as coach are responsible to make a damn change!!! Why not giving santon a chance since 8 months? Why Murillo benched for medel who can’t damn run fast enough with his shirt legs?
If u see u don’t have the players for 4 man defense which is obvious then make a change u morron..3 men with two winges who can make it 5 men under pressure!
Spend 30 mil for gabibench?! U chinese idiots could have bought two decent fb!
Every year the same shit!!!
Have you seen murillo and santon on training ground? Pioli had seen it all. I’m not sure had they play we’d get better result.
Protect Pioli, Protect Inter
Upgrade defensive line, upgrade bench quality, keep starting players in the squad.
There are two ways to go; either we blame the coach (as usual) and sack him or we look at what has happened for years with the same squad.
Under Mancini, under De Boer and now under Pioli we have played well for one half then the morons who actually steppes onto the pitch get brain dead and do something completely stupid. Something the coach really isn’t responsible for.
Hearing Pioli saying the team lacks concentration and only plays well in one half, and when facing problems in the game the team into a “small team”, is excatly the same as Mancini said and his solution was to make the club buy experienced quality players, leaders who could show the young lad the way through truble. But your stupid management refused and said they want to spend on youngsters so Mancini left.
In stead of giving Pioli an older leader in midfield he was giving a young, very green Gagliardini who is super talented but who isn’t a leader yet. And actually that’s what wrong with this team- on the field they lack 1-2 strong leaders, players like Samúel, Cambiasso, and Militto!
If we sack Pioli but keep spending on youngsters the problem will remain the same!
Very well said, when I once said that one of our big problems is that we rely on youngsters, I got literally attacked from almost everyone here, it is a big problem the way we rely on them and force them to lead the team instead of doing what you said, train them to become leaders.. all they think about is money and fame. Unfortunately Pioli is another victim of those slackers and he lost the changing room, the last 5 games said it all
Actually he doesn’t seems to have lot the changing room not when you listen to interviews given by the players and especially the one given by the teams captain -Icardi. He almost begged the club to keep Pioli. The players have all of them expressed great satisfaction with him ever since he arrived.
I really hope you’re right, but when he arrived is different from today, when he got hete, players used to give their all the whole game, now they don’t even bother to play the second half, at least few of them, maybe they lacked physical strength, I don’t know but I hope Pioli still controls the whole team and gets all the help from everyone around him to finish this season with some dignity
That’s the same thing that happened with Mancini – and everyone liked him. We need quality. Not many of our players would make it into a great team in another league. Perisic and Icardi would be the rest simply sucks.
Agree.. maybe they have been over-trained. Pioli made as the first thing when arriving many changes to the way the team trained and especially the double training sessions a day could be back firing on us today, if that have left the players in a state of over-training.
What youngsters for fucking sake? Last night we had Handanovic, D’ambrosio, Medel, Miranda, Nagatomo, Perisic and Candreva!!! And our defence, where we don’t have single youngster was worst department, not only last game, but whole season!
Yep that’s the problem we wete talking about, we’re struck with this shitty team and yet we invested in unproven youngsters, Mario, Barbosa and Kdog, that’s our point. We wasted a market and a lot of money on almost nothing except Mario who’s on and off
Actually, Mario was king of europe before came to Inter. Half of europe wanted K-Dog and Gabigol at that time. So they were not unproven youngsters at all. It’s just us who made them average. I can summarize our mistakes in the market: failure to clear out all junks, renew those zombies and not getting solid full backs for years. I’ve been defending Ausilio a lot. But his recent renewal, made me questioning once again the mismanagement in the top level as Ausilio had a big responsibility in this chaos.
Mario was king of the final game only, and if that’s the case, FDB was the king of Holland, unfortunately one season shining isn’t enough in this world and serie a is much different from all the other leagues.
Dude… I meant Mario with the Portugal national team as they crowned as the best in Europe. Not with Sporting Lisbon.
One of few comments which really makes sense in these terrible days 🙁
So, Milan lost as well! Which means we’re still only two points from 6th and final spot for EL!
I know this is weird, but I have a feeling that we’ll win Napoli. I had the same feeling when we beated Rube at the start of the season. Inter do harder tasks much easier.
Hopefully…
Last EL spot is the biggest punishment a team can get. Starting the season in the middle of summer against some icelandic or whatever nobodies. It’s bad for summer preparation.
HEY! I´d love for Inter to come to Iceland again! I´ve only seen my beloved Inter live once and that was right here in Iceland 😉
But true, it´ll fuck our pre-season prep´s up badly. But that´s the only spot there´s left because Atalanta and especially Lazio are unstoppable !
Nothing against Iceland, great country. Playing against our finnish teams would be even a bigger waste of time. But EL is such a joke compared to the old uefa cup. Monetary rewards are quite low and nobody cares about it besides the final probably.
I know my friend – only joking! Of course it´ll be a waste of time to come to Iceland or Finland or what have you, in stead of rest and train and work on putting together a new team.
I’m such a bad advertiser of our country. Say no to Finland! 😀
but Finland with all the beautiful lakes, saunas and Finlandia is a great place for our players to relax too!
Yeah, sure. Just joking.
you cant win anything with kids.. but pioli also at fault here,
he make many wrong decision
Which decisions did he make yesterday that made us lose this way? He didn’t change system not until we were 5-2 down, then we went 3-5-2 and stopped Fiorentina from scoring at will
I guess thats his mistake, when your system is fine n you dont need to change it (like derby game), he chose to make change. But when we need to react, he choose to wait til our opponent score 4 goal to make change.
But then again; changing the system means bringing on players from the bench and at the moment we have only garbage on the bench….
Compare to juve, roma n napoli maybe our bench looks like garbage but i believe its not that bad if we compare our bench with fio, milan, lazio, or crotone
I like the bench have especially on the wings… Pala, Eder, Gabi and even Brozo are not Inter material to be honest!
I don’t think Pioli is completely to be blamed. Our players lack the will to fight something they were doing earlier. Pioli needs to be have flexible something he doesn’t have in his arsenal. We criticized him for playing 3 at the back and he is scared to do so on a normal day only like yesterday.
Playing 3 at the back will lock down Perisic on the left full wing back pos and ditto Candreva. And both are better moving forward. And with no wing play Icardi got isolated
Ok but we need to be flexible at times. We can’t be a big team and can’t change formation at will.
Agree… our way of playing is very predictable even though we tried yesterday to play deaper than before and play on the counter
We can thank thohir for shoring cuchu the door like a dog… last I checked he was still bossing the midfield in Europe, his team went further than ours in Europa and it’s was a pretty average team. Stupid management
True… and that way of thinking pushed Mancini out…. he wanted an experienced leader and got Melo
Agree with you, we really need those who already win something big like when we got figo, chuchu, samuel, and co. Mancini want to starts with Yaya, and everyone bullying him. Now, we knew whose laugh the hardest. Sometimes the problem might be the fans itself.
Maybe an old gigiant like De Rossi could come in and help out and stabilize the midfield for a year or so…
I support the youngsters invading the team, especially from our own primavera. But imo we just have no luck or we just don’t have quality to buy players that are suitable for us. Suitable I mean we buy players that can make difference and strong mentality in the squad. instead we stuck with the players we bought turned into shitty mentality the squad had (we bought bunch of experienced players too). One thing I always support primavera is they are the root of the team and they know the culture a club have, but sometimes it can be backfire too especially if a club like us who never have a strong skill to integrate youths into the first team
Every fan i the world support the use of home-grown talent in the 1. team the only problem is you don’t win anything with the use of only youngsters.
Arsenal tried it and only won with “older” experienced players in the squad like Henry, Vieira etc… Monaco is a perfect example of who a great team should be build – they got a lot of youngsters and a core of experienced quality players to help the youngsters out (Falcao, Glik, Raggi, Subisic, Moutinho).
