It would make sense to sell him tbh, he will be 29 in the summer so this is the last chance to get a good fee for him. He came for free, so its pretty good business if we can get 15-20m for him.
But it obviously depends a lot on what ideas the next coach has, if he (hopefully) plays with a real DM and then 2 CM’s in front, then there isnt much need for Banega anyways since in that case we wont be using an AMC.
Getting 40-50m for Banega and Brozovic combined would do wonders for the summer budget. Sell them and get a top DM who can fix the problems we obviously have between defense and midfield. I wouldnt mind selling Kondogbia either tbh, but then the overhaul in midfield might be too much.

he isn’t lazy, his role is not what you think he should do, his role is a playmaker not someone that runs after players and intercepts, his role is to shoot from distance, score goals, dribble and pass to icardi which he does excellent, however his stamina is not that high and as someone that followed banega for a long time I can say he gets unmotivated ones in a while but then can pick form and fuck everyone up in the world cuz that’s his true potential
