La Gazzetta dello Sport insists, It’s Samir of Udinese that is Inter’s main objective for the fullback position: “Udinese wants over 10 million euros for him, despite several physical problems. Inter has been following the player the entire season and is now the first choice moving Wolfsburg’s Ricardo Rodriguez to 2nd place. This is a concrete operation in order to fill the obvious gap in Inter’s roster”.

after Inter sign him, next year he says, “I’m not Nagatomo, the fans must understand and have patience”.
He would’ve made the difference today… (Sarcasm)
Samir is not as bad as people here make him out to be…. He is Udineses best player this season.
However being Udineses best player doesnt say much and i dont blame people here for wanting a bigger name who is proven on a high level.
There is no point on buying this Samir guy for +10M euros when we could get R.Rodriguez for 22M
Don’t see a line up thread
It’s Mendy, not him
Yet again we try to make budget signings for our weak spot while we will overspend on other non-crucial positions. Pazza Inter.
Fuck this shit, will we ever learn ? This guy is a centerback that is playin out of position cuz he has a bit of speed, but he lacks crossing, ball control, dribbling, passing, things that are vitals for a fullback. Our biggest problem is the fullbacks, why don’t we spend big for them? For example Mendy, he’s solid af in defence and great going forward, why don’t we spend 25-30m to get him?
Sad, but our management dont see fullback as vital spot for a team
We’ve been doing this for years and never learn. Since the treble we’ve always chosen the cheaper option and rather paid something like 10 mil for a crappier player and not like 20 mil for a guy who would be a much more sure bet. Like when we bought Taider and not Nainggolan.
The result is we have spent much more than Roma and Napoli and have a much worse squad. Now that we have money it would be mind boggling if Ausilio still wants to do this shit. If you keep this shit up then at least learn to scout before that you freaking idiots…
Other direction we would always go, is taking a full back who know how to run, mediocre in crossing, but shit in defense, like real shit. Most of our FB have empty look when it comes to marking and tackling. They have no clue.
We didn’t want to spend 12M on Alex Telles, who performed well on our shirt and now has played a great season in Portugal. But we spend over 8M on Ansaldi and now there are rumours that we would spend +10M on this guy…. And on top of it all he has some physical problems. WE NEED a quality fullbacks not this kind of a guy.
tbh, if you compare Ansaldi last season and Telles this season, they perform almost similar. Too bad Ansaldi didn’t worked out for us.
His recent year performance took our management signed him from Genoa.
Yeah true. But still Telles would have been younger with better chances of development. And Ansaldi is 30 now. If we buy players aged 28-30 I expect them to be good enough to really impact the whole teams game.
lol Telles didnt perform well for Inter.
But he did compared to Nagashit, Santon and D’Ambrosios performations until maybe the last 6 months. He would have easily been a player with an impact on the attacking third.
