I’m a fan of the player but it’s not a good fit imho, also, Berardi and Silva are wingers or have winger-like characteristics. Talisca on the wing would be a total waste, he has the abilities to be a good secondary striker or an offensive midfielder, behind Icardi. Good with through balls and one-two passes on the edge of the box, has vision and good touch, great long shooter (and FK taker), has decent aerial game, but he can’t really play on the wings, too sluggish, not very hard working and I’d even say “too tall” for the position.
Actually he’s a pretty solid player and has a good physique to boot, I’ve watched him play and not YouTube vids. He would be a smart buy but so we really need more in attack? Especially if we don’t make Europe? Thin the squad to 16-17 guys, build responsibility,unity and identity then expand next year if we meet euro goals…
