A new adventure for Luciano Spalletti as he has reached an agreement with Inter. The leaders of the negotiations Ausilio and Gardini, have reached an agreement with former Roma manager today in the city of Florence. The Italian manager has agreed on a two year contract which will formalize early next week. Spalletti is now ready to take on a new project in Milan – an important stage in his career.

Roma played long balls to dzeko(195cm) who then lays them to salah and el shaarawy who have alot of pace. they have a completely physical midfield with nainggolan, strootman and de rossi. and they used rudiger as a rightback/3rd CB. how am i being negative? there is a clear problem here. spalletti wants 2 new midfielders (nainggolan and strootman) and wants us to pay 40m for an average player like rudiger because he used him as a Rightback at Roma……. you don’t see the disconnect here? his vision don’t necessarily fit our current roster.

Rudiger plays a right hand defender in a 3 man defense, sometimes at right back (which is a waste, true, but we are linked to some interesting right full backs like Conti so don’t think he’s gonna be our right full back,) – but mainly he has played as a center back in a 4 man defense…
Spaletti plays according to his team’s strength anywhere he goes, so what you on abt

Ehh… Spalletti didn’t play long balls at all, he played a very attacking minded wing based system, with focus on directly football and sometimes also counter attacking minded football.
He took Roma two years in a row to second place behind a super Juventus team, plus he has played very flexible football. As I said attacking minded football, but against strong opponents he have played a super effective counter attacking minded game like when he kikcked our sorry asses in Rome; we had the ball the most but with a couple of counter attacks they won the game.
In other games he has played with 3 in defense which can be very effective as well – so we’re getting a very flexible coach who knows how to play in many different ways and how’s one of the bast in players and in making them better.
This isn’t fm2017, when you sign a new coach it doesn’t automatically means our team will copy his old team’s way of playing!!
