It is almost a done deal. Inter and Luciano Spalletti are ready to get married. According to Premium Sport Inter and the Tuscan coach could meet on Sunday, or at the latest Monday, in order to resolve the final issues before signing the contract. The contract, which has been agreed upon for quite some time now, is a two-year deal worth 4 million of euros (net) + bonuses per year. There is also an option of a third year. The former Roma coach could be presented in the middle of next week together with Walter Sabatini returning from China. Reports from competing TV-stations suggests that Spalletti’s intention is to keep Ivan Perisic, but the margins for doing that are getting smaller and smaller since the player has a verbal agreement with Manchester United. The transfer sum of 52 million of euros (including bonuses) are more than welcome and will clear everything with Uefa regarding Fair Play rules as well as give Inter the possibilities to strike hard on the transfer market.
Meanwhile the countdown for Spalletti has started.
