No I agree, not for RB! But as the article points out; he´s able to play in the center of a 4 back line and as a right side defender in a 3 man defense, and that flexibility is very important in now-a days football!
Of course playing with 4 at the back he should NEVER play as a full back and hopefully Conti or Zappa will arrive and cover the fullback pos. – Conti plays as a wing back for Atalanta in a 3-4-3 so he´d be perfect if the idea is to play with 3 in defense and Rudiger behind him in the 3 back line…
Yeah dude, I understand the multi use argument in this article, but I’m not a fan of Rüdi. I’d just wish we bought a serious cb like Manolas and also a good rb. JJ was multi use and still not worth shit.
I prefer manolas over rudiger. But if it is spalletti who wants rudiger i am okay. We must support him. Stop buying players that the coach doesnt ask for. Like gabigol. He cost 30 mil. Imagine if we used that 30 mil to buy two great fbs. We wont be tortured from nagatomo performance anymore and i am sure we will be much better than this
Gotta just trust the management on this, but that one news yesterday that said Spalletti prefers Manolas and Sabatini Rüdiger was just weird. Probably just a bs news, but this is Inter so all crazy things are possible.
I still believe Saba can somewhat turn the course of this Inter ship with Spalletti and I’m prepared to transfers that seem stupid to me, but might just work out in the end. Saba and Spalletti managed to make that Fazio one of the best cb’s in Serie A this season, something I would have never thought possible.

Don’t compare JJ with Rudiger.. I like Manolas too but don’t know why we have changed target; maybe Manolas isn’t interested in us, and now seems to want to sign a new contract, but Rudi has been critizing life in Rome with the rasists fans there and maybe would like to change city and follow his mentor to Milan – how knows!
Maybe that was a low blow to Rüdi from me, but I like to exaggerate things from time to time 😉
Hehe … and don’t forget Rudiger is still quite young for a defender and now he has played two seasons in Serie a with Spalletti so hopefully he’s ready to take the next step up for us, with Spalla

We have been fined true, but for making fun of Italians from Southern Italy, (mainly Neapolitans), which isn’t racism at all. Every country have these “making fun of people from the country side”- jokes and hasn’t got anything to do with racism!
Well I doubt he is going to get away from the racist fans. Our ultras get charges of rascist chants pretty often. Although they don’t do it to our own players…
But still its pretty hypocrite to make racist chants to other teams players. We are Internazionale and its 2017 ffs.
Rome as a city just like Napoli is known for being pretty racist and the supporters of especially Lazio but also some fractions of Roma supporters are very racist in their way of supporting their team…

Yes they do – or, Torino plays 4-3-3 more or less, and Zappa is playing for like a fullback (but is superb going forward and has superb crosses) but Conti is “born and raised” in a 3-4-3 where he plays as a wing back…
