Krychowiak is s#it, i know him pretty well, in todays football you can’t have midfielders who don’t know what to do with ball in offensive phase.
he has some great long balls and tecnically he´s not bad! We need someone to “have Gagliardini´s back” so he can go forward and he´s the man! He´s also very tall so he can be a great header to have infront of the defense..
I know this formation is probably impossible and it’s hard to imagine that we would use six new players in first eleven, but damn, I think this formation would play atomic football under Spalletti and it would be a pleasure to watch them. True, but I would like to see this formation under Spalletti… If it’s true that we are going to sell Perisic and half of our team, we can change the way we play also… And with two explosive full backs that can attack hard, we need 3 cb defense to prevent team from concede.

You are thinking more of a 3-4-2-1. What Conte has created at Chelsea? I concur with boln. We will build the team around Spalleti´s normal 4-2-3-1 and use a 4-3-3 in some situations if we can find the players. Spalleti used 3 CB formations as a variant do to he had the time and capital to build the team he wanted.
We are selling 90% of the team just to make up the money to have 2 good starting calibers CB. Also to play 3 CB on constant bases you need around 5 CB (3 CB as starters and 2 1/2 as depth). This is not shooting your coment down, I support your idea, and I really do.
But we are in this situation do to the lack of depth on the team. We can build a team just of 11 guys. We need 23 or 25 quality starters. Look what just happen in the Champions League with Real Madrid. They over time have built great depth around there star players. Rotating them more & more in the 2nd half of the season. Thus giving Zizu a fresher team, on the physical aspect than Juventus.
We need to play the long game guys and build the team the right way over time. And Sabatini knows this and has done it in the past. We are finely in good hands.

There’s reason why Inter extend his contract. His experience and versatility do helps. Personally i see him as reliable center back if Spaletti intent to play with three cb defense like he did at Roma.
i’m okay with the perisic deal for the reported price. 45m+ is an insane piece of work by ausilio. a little hesitant about krychowiak tbh. he’s great at defending but he struggled to get break into the PSG midfield due to his lack of technicality. he plays the role of a destroyer well but do we really need him? we already have gagliardini playing the busquets role. i know that he has played in the defense before. he has all it takes to become a good defender. not so much a midfielder.
