Today the option for Sevilla to purchase Stevan Jovetic expires and the Spanish club has yet to redeemed the player. Olympique Marseille have started talks with Inter for the striker. According to L’Equipe, the French club has played the Rudi Garcia card.
The former Roma coach wants the Inter player and could use his relationship with Walter Sabatini as leverage – he has worked in Italy and for this reason, “the transaction could close in favor of OM”. The French newspaper even explains that, “the leaders of Marseille have already started the attacker’s transfer process”.
