Borja Valero has made it clear that he wants the transfer to Inter. This is what he expressed during a face-to-face meeting with Fiorentina General Director Pantaleo Corvino, who after the meeting faced the press and spoke about the offers on the player: “We sat down and talked to the guy, and he said that he wants to go to Inter. Therefore he has opened the path for an offer. With respect of the offers from China and Rome I haven’t talked to the player about the offer from Inter, and this was an error on my behalf. Therefore I wanted to hear what the player himself had in mind and he expressed the wish of going to Inter. Inter’s courtship of Valero starts tonight, when the players is up for grabs.”
