After undergoing the first part of his medical examination at the Humanitas di Rozzano clinic, Borja Valero is now at the CONI office (Italian National Olympic Committee) for the second and last one. Should everything go fine during this examination the path for signing with Inter is open.

What do you guys think of this lineup –
Hondanovic
Darmian Miranda Skriniar Dalbert
Gagliardin Valero
Di Maria Joao Mario Perisic
Icardi
I think its going to leak a bucket load of goals.
That midfield is way too weak defensively, none of them knows how to defend.
Thats why i never really understood the Fagliardini transfer, he is terrible at defending. The same is now the case with Valero, who cant defend either, but at least he is a good passer.
Fagliardini was a stupid transfer, what Inter really needed back then was a proper defensive midfielder. That issue still remains and unless a proper defensive midfielder is bought then the goals will keep leaking just like last season.
Inter should not be using an AMC with the types of midfielders they have currently, because Fagliardini and Kondogbia are quite bad a defending.
A 433 with 1 DM and 2 CM’s would fix this and make far more sense considering the type of midfielders Inter have now. Playing 4231 with 1 AMC and 2 CM’s just doesnt work when the CM’s are as bad at defending as Inters current CM’s are.
Inters midfield should be looking like the below with 3 different types of midfielders.
———————DM
Fagliardini/Kdog — JM/Valero
I think you’re way too harsh on Gagliardini but I agree we need a proper DM next to him (or Valero?) because the two seasons Kondo played so far have not convinced me at all that he can be that guy.
Gagliardini is average at best, he would never have been bought if he wasnt italian.
Atalanta didnt miss at all after he left, infact they performed better without him.
I find it hilarious how some people here bash Milans Kessie transfer and hype this italian rube turd we got.
Well people here been bashing all Milan recruits as being shit. I guess they’ll be taken seriously only if they buy Messi or Cr7 lol.
Gagliardini could turn into a good, or at least decent CM imo, he needs to improve his shooting tho.
But unfortunately, Kessieh might just be what we needed, a midfielder capable of making runs and scoring goals. I don’t know much about Conti, but his stats also shows that he provides smg we’ve been desperately lacking, goals and assists from our fullbacks…
LOL exactly what I thought. Fassone and Mirabelli have been in full throttles since end of June. They have been showing great motivations to dethrone Rubentus this season and to prove Inter wrong for firing them few years ago. We should have been worrying by now since our cousin is on their way to sign Biglia and Aubameyang. When those two names are in their starting lineup, let’s pray harder that Yogatomo and Ansaldick would not be guarding our flanks.
$uning must counter this kind of pre-season psy-war to show their commitments with blockbuster signings. I expect names like Nainggolan, Vidal, Di Maria, Manolas, Dalbert, Zappacosta to be considered as serious investments. Skriniar and Borja are just for testing the water. I believe in Sabatini. He knows what Spalletti wants and needs.
Exactly. The panic buys is what worries me the most, 30M on gablgol because we missed out on Jesus is a perfect example of that.
Plus I don’t know why we’re slacking when it comes to buying two proper fullbacks.
Perfectly said brother
WHAT? Gagliardini is average? Are you serious mate? He’s a very good box-to-box midfielder.
I agree with you on Kondogbia. However I still think he will be way better. I ase him playing much better in the new coach’s system where we press more and the midfield is packed. Meaning he doesn’t have to run long distances to his opponent where he lacks pace but is good in close quarters.
You have a point
is the 1st medical not enough?
