About Calciopoli, Javier Zanetti had another set of explanations to the microphones of FourFourTwo. Inter’s Vice-President returned to talks about what happened during the Calciopoli era: “A very delicate phase for all of the Italian football when everybody understood what had happened. Italy had the entire world’s eyes on it and I hope we will not see anything like this again. It is very important not to forget what happened although I think it is better to put that part of Italian football away and start looking ahead. It was important for us to win all these titles after Calciopoli and also the way we did it in. I was certain, even during dark times, that Inter had triumphed.”
