Daniele Adani spoke with Sky Sports about the current situation in Serie A, talking about Inter, Milan, Roma, Juventus and Napoli, He discussed the Champions League qualification:
“I expect 3-4 new players from Inter. To date, Inter are the least likely to qualify to the Champions League. They have yet to make proper moves in the mercato, despite their need of reinforcements. ”

I suppose you are talking about this article and the vieri and Serena ones. All which is about inters immediate future (next season) and lack of proper activity on the transfer market.
That has very little to with the “future” potential your sources talk about, so the statements are not comparable in any way, please try to make sense just one time, I’m getting tired of having to point out fallacies and inaccuracies in all your posts.

It’s great that you are super happy about everything the management does and believe we have tons of trebles incoming because of them, but just as you are entitled to this opinion, we are also entitled to have different and more negative opinion on how things are going, preferably without having you whine about it at every chance.

Looking at all the teams till now, Inter is likely to finish at 5th. With this present team it would take a miracle for us to reach Champions League nxt season. We desperately need to buy two good full backs, one centre back, one defensive midfielder and another attacking player.

People shouldn’t expect much tbh, only more average players like vecino and dalbert will arrive a long with some young players perhaps and there is a reason for that.
I don’t think the club is targeting anything except than EL spot for next season. The ffp situation and finishing outside Europe really messed up the mercato from the start, not to mention inter is not a very attractive destination right now.
If there was real intent and possibility to built a top 4 squad this summer them surely we would have seen more ambition on the market, because no one likes to buy most of their players in August, they want them ASAP for the preseason.
It makes sense since mostly youngsters and depth signings have been signed and inter are interested in. Spalletti alone should able to gain around 10 not points compared to last season with similar squad quality. Top 4 is very unlikely as the squad quality is significantly inferior compared to the others. The hope being that Milan don’t get their new players to gel or that Roma’s new coach flops, but that seems unlikely as Roma’s core is intact.
There is really no point whining about it, we are all disappointed, but next year will be another transition year. Hopeful with an EL finish next season and no ffp penalty the club can build a squad that can challenge for top 4.
The good news is that Lazio, fio and Atalanta have sold pretty much all their best players so the competition for 5th is next to none.
I agree with alot you’re saying. Obv you always want to win the league but that’s unrealistic next yr. I honestly believe 4th is highest we can achieve, even with reinforcements. I feel top 2 is pretty much a lock between Juve and Napoli. I’m keeping Roma out of the scudetto race only because they have a new coach, so most likely they’ll end up 3rd. We have one more yr under FFP agreement, if we go allin this yr on really expensive players and miss on CL we’re fucked.
I like your last point, the teams that finished right infront or around us got worse which really helps us in securing a EL spot. And with Spalletti as coach and a few reinforcements (and subtractions) 5th place to me is a lock. So the question is can he get a little bit more out of the team, he’ll end up having, and outcoach Milan to sneak into 4th.

Adani is always shit-talking Inter. The truth is we still have all of August month to make important moves, August is always the month were big signings are happening world wide.
Right now Spalletti is getting to know the squad and him, Ausilio, Sabatini and the hole Zhang-family are present with the team in China. Hopefully they are planing some important moves as we speak. And with moves for players that can bring in money like Perisic to Utd and Candreva to Chelsea (they asked for him yesterday) we will get the needed money to spend on 3 defenders, a midfielder and 1-2 wingers… Even though I think gabi is growing in front of your eyes!
I also like mario in the left “wing” where he can draft inside like he did against Schalke so if Keita arrives and maybe Berardi plus this Vecino, Dalbert, Darmian as part of Perisic and a central defender (if not Murillo who has lifted his game resently stays), and we´re ready!
Even Broso could stay as he does have potentiel and only need a good coach and a stabil system to be part of, same goes for Jojo

Which board? Sabatini spoke yesterday about the team and the transfer market. We have brought him in and Buccin from Palermo, because our focus is on the “next” Di Mario, the “next” Nainggolan and not the old ones. That´s what Sabatini is world famous for me friend and he already have sign 3-4 very talented players and hopefully the players arriving will show his genius!

Milan is buying now because they´re not doomed to follow the FFP like we are. They will from next summer and then they´ll need to start cutting back and selling before buying, but not this summer, plus they know that they will start paying the huge loan back to the American Hedge found than lend the Chinese shit loads of money to buy the club, next summer. If they make it to the CL all is good for them, but if they don’t experts are saying the Amricans will take over the club and start selling everything in order to get their money back!
