Premium Sport has released an update on the deal that could bring Patrik Schick to Inter:
Sampdoria remains adamant on the 30M Euros price tag while Inter is offering a loan with a redemption obligation. During the talks, Davide Santon’s name was brought up and could possibly be included in the deal.

Do we actually need Schick? We already hv Icardi and Eder and Pinamonti as his substitutes. Also we hv bought Odgaard and Pellegri. We should rather go for a Central Defender and full backs.
Need? No but should but if we can. He is an excellent player young and plenty of room to become great. Yes we have Piamonti but Eder doesn’t cut it for me. He is good but not good enough makes great runs but hardly ever scores. If we want to be a top team again then we need competition within the team.

on his rare videos one can see mostly moments when he scores and not much of his passing or tackles … so I thought he was a centerforward ! 😉
When we still have Eder, Jovetic , Pinamonti and Gabigol as possible Icardi subs he is just not something we need right now.
We need a very strong FB.
We also need to get rid of deadwood.
Then a really “bad”, productive winger, like Berardi.
Then maybe we can look at other stuff.
then trade eder with Schick and Sell Jovetic. Pinamonti’s main involvement season will be the Youth UCL.
30m is too much for a player who have fitness issue.. just take santon, and loan him to us, with option to buy.. if he good, than we will sign him, we still have eder and pinamonti for the bench anyway. icardi will alway be the starter, and he rarely injured.. with icardi playing style, he would most likely stay out of injuries most of the time.. even if he’s injured, would mostly only light injuries..
