According to Premium Sport, in the last few hours the Senegalese forward has chosen to transfer to Inter. There has been reports earlier that Aquile President Claudio Lotito had vetoed a move to Juventus, which had been Keita’s preferred option, which only leaves Inter now. Additionally, Keita has refused to depart from Serie A as offers came in from Liverpool and Monaco.

Hope we get him when Perisic leaves and if we get Darmian as part of the deal too we’re good on the right full back and only need to spend on Dalbert plus another center back (if Murillo leaves). He has been improving lately so maybe Murillo will be given another year so prove himself, with Skriniar as a good back up.
In midfield Vecino seems all set to join and he’s a player who is great technically and knows how to play in many positions, and with an improving Kondogbia (from what I have heard), Gagliardini, Mario, Valero and even Brosovic we really don’t need anything else in that department. Of course getting a proven, experienced leader like Naingolanor Vidal would be awesome but I don’t believe Sabatini is ready to splash out on “old” player (Naingolan is 29 and Vidal is 30).
In attack we have Eder and hopefully Keira on the left and on the right I hope Candreva leaves for a good amount of money, and we get in either Yann Karamoh, whom we have been heavily linked to, or Berardi plus keep Gabi because he too is growing a lot! Up front we have Icardi who never gets injured and Pinamonti as a super talented back up!
Players to leave: Nagatomo, Santon, Ranno, maybe Murillo, maybe Broso, Perisic for the right offer especially because he has been bad in preseason, Candreva because getting 18-20 mil for a 30 year old player who doesn’t really fit into the way Spalletti wants to play makes sense and Jojo because with only one game pr week next season we don’t need him because we have a young guy called Pinamonti who needs playing time. And we need money to reinvest and 13-15 mil plus his high salary will help us a lot in doing so!
Besides, Jojo is known for being great when playing all the time and being motivated, but at Inter he’ll be a back up and he’ll lose his motivation like he did last year for us and like he did at City.
i think this is the ideal mercato scenario, considering who we are (rumored to be) linked to and who really needs to leave. love it.
(caution: ideal is by no means realistic, which means we should factor in a number of variables)
Well the ideal market would be the one where Suning spend some of their billions on 5-6 world class players, but seeing we’restill being whatched by Uefa because of the FFP, the most realistic market is the one where you sell and then buy cleaverly – excatly what Sabatini is world famous for!
