Negotiation are now on stand-by between Inter and Manchester United for Ivan Perisic. The Nerazzurri continue to ask for 50M Euros, but José Mourinho does not seem to be willing to accept the offer. According to ESPN, Manchester has made it known that they are confident about the outcome of the deal despite the contract renewal talks that Inter intends to pursue. The Red Devils are convinced that the Nerazzurri have no real intention to hold back the Croatian.

You bet I am. I have been following this club passionately since 1997. I love Mou. I will never forget what he’s done for our club, the love he showed, the tears he shed after our CL victory. But if he has the intentions to buy Perisic then why not do it right now? They know our price. They knew it for months now. So if he pulls the trigger on this in spite of us (for not wanting to sell on the cheap) during the last few days of the transfer window, yeah, i’m gonna be pissed at him. That in my book is a cheap shot at a club he said will always be in his heart.

I don’t understand that logic. If Man U waits and we don’t seem to be able to find a replacement, we just don’t sell Perisic – it’s simple as that.
the problem is, the management (including spalletti) have claimed multiple times that they are willing to sell for the right price. what BULLET means is if mou finally pay that price, but in the last possible minute so we don’t have time to find a replacement.
Then don’t sell, even if we get the right price. The condition for selling isn’t just having the right price, but also for us to have enough time to find a replacement. It’s dumb to sell on August 31st just because we receive a 50M offer.
it’s not that easy.. man utd offer 7m of sallary to perisic.. if we don’t sell, perisic have to sign his new contract.. and inter can only give him 4m of salary, second to icardi. more than that would create chaos in dressing room(you know wanda would demand more for his husband).
perisic himself have said that inter is just his stepping stone to play in PL.. that’s why Man utd have confidence in this negotiation..
we only hope spalletti can convince him to sign new contract if man utd can’t meet our demand..
Not at all. Perisic is signed through July 2020. Just because Man Utd offered 7M doesn’t mean Inter have to renew the contract. It’s actually illegal to approach players and make agreements before the club says OK. So none of those Man Utd 7M business have contractual bindings on Inter.
you have to consider his motivation with the club too.. unless he convinced by spalletti, and sign a new contract that inter offer him. like spalletti said he want to have perisic in the squad but he want to know the player intention too.. new contract nowaday mean new commitment to the club. i want to keep him in the team, but i don’t mind to lose him either..

the only smart thing is to “almost” finalize the deal in silence for Perisic replacement.. thing should placed on stand-by and would only through if Perisic leaves.
For this kinda deal, we can do it on last minute:
– with Club that has extra left winger, thus the player have the urge to leave
– player that quality is below Perisic, that think he can safely secure Perisic spot right away when he leave
If this is whats gonna happen, it would be like dominos, one deal after another on final day.
BUT, this kinda deal still risk the player wont be ready for not having a great preseason preparation
