Less than 48 hours before Inter-Spal, there is reportedly still indecision in Luciano Spalletti’s mind about who should play alongside with Borja Valero in the midfield.
In the last few hours – reports Gazzetta.it – Vecino seems to have overtaken Gagliardini in the plans of the coach. For the rest it seems all set: in the defence, Dalbert will make his debut alongside a trio of Skriniar, Miranda and D’Ambrosio.
Finally, in the trident of attacking midfielders behind Icardi, there will be Joao Mario with Perisic and Candreva.

Not sure where to put this but “The New” right now seems to be only one:
Perisic just signed the new contract ,till 2022.
In other words until the end of his career.
You can find an interview in Italian on youtube where he talks about the important role of Spalletti in convincing him to stay and how much he believes in this new winning Inter cycle etc.
I hope to understand Italian, so I can follow all of Inter videos, news and tactical strategies. Our big transfers this year are definitely Spaletti and Perisic. Well, if Spaletti would have not been our manager, Perisic would have left already. I trust Spaletti as strongly as I trust Perisic’s qualities. Perisic is too supportive now. I think Spaletti told everybody to throw all the balls at Icardi just like he did with Dzeko. Our attacks with Perisic – Icardi – Candreva are so strong.
I know.
I can do Italian all right, my mom lives there…I go every couple years.
There is SOOOO much more about Inter in Italian.
Including many videobloggers, some funny ones like Luca Mastrangelo or Diego Ligorio,my favorite two, and many ,very detailed shows about literally everything Inter
But Inter channel now ,starting from this year ,is translating its videos in English.
About damn time 🙂
Well..now I am thinking..the coach sees him and talks to him,IF he is rested and in good shape by Sunday….then .no point in changing the winning formula .
It seems to me that an obvious ,clear starting XI is developing , will see later what happens with D’ambro -Cancelo and the winter mercato, but the midfield trio Vecino-BV-JM has clearly shown to be “the thing” in my view.
With Brozo-Gaglia respectable subs.
I am happy not to see Kondogbia in our midfield anymore, no more wrong passes to opponents which could change our game plans. Vecino is doing a full role of tackling and getting back the ball, simple and safe. This team can win something this year since we don’t have Europe competition. We have back-ups for every position, but not enough depth… If Joao Mario is injured, we’ll be in trouble. Joao Mario came in and made a big difference in 2 games. I hope Spaletti can change Brozovic, he has potential but his mind is something weird. Last, Valero is simply a dancer in our midfield, a Pirlo version. I wish he could be couple years younger so that he can play full 90 minutes with no fatigue. With D’Ambrosio still our right back, we just cannot defend …
Me too.
I think we only gain from the even Cancelo-Kondo exchange at 25 m.
Hopefully in Valencia they don’t realize it too.
Do you know what happens to Santon? The good thing about D’Ambrosio and Candreva is that they never get serious injury, so they can play full 38 matches. Right now, with Cancelo’s injury, we have no choice but Danilo D’Ambrosio. I hope we can survive through September. All easy games but not really easy.
Santon is back training with the group now.
I know ,without the accidents he wouldn’t be bad at all.
nagatomo plays on the right sometimes.
JM is starting the next game but is still not cemented into the starting line up yet, honestly I like him to come in as a sub his energy changes the whole game
