The UEFA President, Aleksander Ceferin, has announced a firm stance against French Ligue 1 side, Paris Saint-Germain. It has been reported in the past few days that there would be an investigation to the French club, for their possible breach of the Financial Fair Play rules.
According to the French sports paper L’Equipe, the recently elected Slovenian President of European Football’s governing body was present at the European Club Association assembly when his indiscretion came about. Whilst there it is thought that he shared some of his thoughts about the situation & told some club directors also in attendance at the assembly that “If I wish to be as popular as Michel Platini, then I know I should ban PSG from cup competitions.”
Aleksander Ceferin’s words were later denied by UEFA according to the Spanish newspaper Marca.
Maybe PSG didn’t break any rules directly, but they surely did it indirectly. And if Uefa really want to be taken seriously and won’t risk other clubs to do the same they really need to set down the foot and make an example of PSG!
If it is implemented on one team like ourselves, then it should be implemented on all teams other wise it is discriminatory AGAINST those who obey the rules, and praises those who defy them!? It’s insanity, either all teams follow or none do, that simple. You should back your shit up and persecute those who defy the rules or else remove yourself from the position you hold, and let some one else do the job as it is supposed to done.
He should ban them not cause it’ll make him popular, but because it’s his damn job. They made a joke out of the FFP…
and we are frightened by FFP…thats sucks!
they stepped on it and pissed on it
