Sampdoria coach and self-proclaimed Inter fan Marco Giampaolo stopped by InterTV to share his thoughts on the loss against the Nerazzurri at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro distrcit.
“For 45 minutes I saw the usual Sampdoria. We found an Inter with a lot of possession and conviction and we missed some passes at times during the first half. Spalletti is doing a great job with this Inter. In the second half we created some problems for them, it is a shame because we could have done better in the first half but I like what I saw in the second half and how we responded to going down 0-3, something that is not easy to do after conceding three goals”.
In conclusion Giampoalo was asked about his former player Milan Skriniar’s performance: “I have never doubted him, he is an animal during the games. He never speaks but has an incredible level of attention. I said the same thing to every top club that called me: “He is strong”. The only negative about him is that first name is Milan [laughs].”
Coach like mancini or guardiola will continue to humiliate opponent in the game like this, but it will make it difficult for them as their humiliated opponents will seeking bloody revenge in the next encounter. Spalletti decide to make weird subs like naga for santon and taking off vecino to give giampaolo a lifeline, because 3-0 is already too harsh for giampaolo. It’s kinda like soft diplomacy.
nah, why would any coach risk important game for that kind of reason. It was simply a mistake from Spalletti, Mario and Santon, they don’t perform as expectation.
just my thoughts, bc it was to weird to be true for spalletti calibre
I think everyone surprised with JM performance flopped tonight.
It’s beyond Spalletti calculation, I guess
Vecino had muscle problem that’s why the coach took him off. Nothing serious though. He had to be rested. If Vecino or Gaglia get substituted the team will suffer defensively.
Respect this man and i’m sure one day he will get The Inter Job
The only negative about him is that first name is Milan [laughs]
LOL
He’s a real Interista!
