Torino has been man-marking us almost out of the game – their high pressing/man marking on Borja(Rincon), Vecino and on Gagliardini plus high pressuring on Miranda Skriniar has made it really difficult for us to build up from behind like Spalletti wants.
We need our wingers to drop more inside in order to receive longer passes from Skriniar/Miranda over the midfield in order to open up play and maybe Brozo would be an answer a one of our “wingers” in the second half, even though Candreva has been good!
But hopefully Torino will get tired in the second half by this high pressing!
I expect eder to come in

I agree he has statistics. But he’s not consistent at all. He scores 2-3 goals in one match and then goes quiet for the next 4-5 matches.
And I don’t mean just scoring, because he can do more than just scoring, starting actions and being valuable as a playmaker which most strikers do. But Icardi doesn’t have that, and he has to work on that.
U can rely on Icardi only when the wingers are in top form, because without any service he’s just no good. And even with the service in a lot of these not derby matches he just doesn’t give his best.
Because if he played every game like last year with Juventus per example, we’d have been long time ago in the CL.

He’s inconsistent, and doesn’t have even the basic skills to accept a pass, hold the ball and make a pass to save his life. That’s why we have forgotten what is to score in a counter attack because Icardi always makes something wrong. Can’t hold the ball or does an awful pass ruining the action.
Just look at Milito, he has given us so many goals from counter attacks, regardless if he scored them or not. But he was the crucial player, because the ball came to him first and he opened the play for the other attacking players.
If you know He is a poacher then accept the way He is. Don’t say overrated and expect anything exceptional from him besides a poacher jobs.
If we had a completed striker like Osvaldo that would complement Icardi like when they played together,
I wouldn’t be so critical about him. But we’re playing with one striker only so we are relying on him to do everything. So he needs to show up every game, and hold the damn ball and start a decent action once in a while !!
