Sky Sport Italia reports that only 3 members of the Nerazzurri first team were at the teams first training session of the week which prompted coach Luciano Spalletti to include 6 players from the Primavera team along with two players from the Under 18 team in order to be able to have a full training session.

This comes as no surprise given that most of the first team players have been called up to their respective national teams for either friendly matches or FIFA World Cup play-off fixtures. The three members from the first team present at Appiano Gentile were Andrea Ranocchia, Henrique Dalbert and Davide Santon.

Nerazzurri captain Mauro Icardi will also be around the traning centre in Appiano Gentile as the Argentinian striker is recovering from a knee injury sustained during the Serie A fixture this past weekend against Torino. This week will also offer Inter coach Luciano Spalletti some much needed extra time with the aforementioned players in order to work with them individually.
