In the 53 rd minute of play between Cagliari and Inter, Nerazzurri midfielder Matias Vecino was forced to leave the pitch and was replaced by Marcelo Brozovic, who scored shortly after.
The Uruguayan sat on the bench for the remainder of the match with an ice pack on his thigh and it is being reported that the initial examinations have shown an injury to his flexor muscles.
Although Inter suffered at the hands of Cagliari for much of the first half, Mauro Icardi’s goal changed the game for the travelling Nerazzurri and Vecino who was previously struggling with the pressure of Cagliari’s high tempo began to improve.
It was unfortunate for him to not be able to maintain the momentum but Brozovic filled the gap well and ended up scoring Inter’s second goal with his first touch. It remains to be seen how quickly Vecino will take to recover and whether or not it will affect Spalletti’s decisions for their next game against Chievo Verona.
Next game will be interesting…
Spallo will have to create a new midfield ,with Gaglia and Vecino out.
And find a replacement for Miranda.
All at the same time.
I have my idea of what he is going to do ,but I will probably be wrong ,like most people guessing right now.
As long as he somehow doesn’t play Ranocchia I am happy.
Why Gaglia tho? Cards?
Yes .
Didn’t gaglia get a yellow?
how long?
