Antonio Candreva stopped by Inter TV to share his thoughts on the Serie A win against Cagliari away in the Sardegna Arena last night which meant that the Nerazzurri go top of the Serie A at least temporarily.
“It was a game full of challenges, which we knew, they’re a very strong opposition in all respects, which is why this win is an important step. After the start, we changed something and as a result we scored a goal, with the help from Mauro. Conceding Pavoletti’s goal was a pity but it was important we didn’t stress and then we scored another, making it 3-1. We will have a lot to think about before our game with Chievo on Sunday.”
What can this Inter achieve?
“We do not set limits, we aim for everything.”
It took great strength to play so intensely for 90 minutes…
“We have a lot of fun, we are all friends, we are all enthusiastic and this is very important.”
This Inter has made so much progress?
“There is still a long way to go, we want to do something extraordinary, we’ve wanted this since July.”
What about the criticism?
“If they are constructive then I will listen.”
You do not have to listen to anyone, lets be realistic here he is not the greatest winger,he will not make a perfect cross every time and he will probably some time miss easy chances and make really bad crosses…BUT he works like a horse,he never gives up he runs up and down providing attacking options and tracks back all the time to help out in defence,he can beat his man he can make a perfect cross from time to time and he does make assists and he makes a fair amount of them to be fair,he has a great shot and scores goals he is basicly a good winger who helps a great amount in defence but can still provide a wining cross or even score a goal himslef, and i would honestly rather have him and be sure that he will give his all everytime then anyone else because this is the game where teams win not individuals no matter how good you are
yet people here like to make silly nicknames like “crossdreva” lol
Excellent breakdown…
Candreva is on his peak career
