Former Inter manager Roberto Mancini is of the opinion that he deserves some of the credit for Inter’s stellar start to this campaign under Luciano Spalletti.
“Many of their players arrived when I was there. We had built an important squad: I am thinking about Marcelo Brozovic, Miranda, Ivan Perisic and even Geoffrey Kondogbia, who has been one of the best players in La Liga this season.
“I am happy for Inter. I knew it’d be just a matter of time [until they were back up at the top],” he told Domenica Sportiva.
Asked if he had any regrets about his last spell as Inter manager, the now Zenit St Petersburg manager admitted he had none.
“I have no regrets. Sometimes you need dignity, and if things don’t go well, you need the courage to make a change.”
The 53-year-old concluded by discussing the race for the scudetto this season.
“It will be contested by those currently near the top if they stay up there.”
Mancini probably you are partly responsible for man City start of the season as well because you mange them before.
Hahahahaha a great one !
And the treble also is only because of Mancio. I bet his mom signs to him a song about how awesome he is every night before going to sleep.
Simple put.. Kondogbia is doing exact the same thing in Valencia as he did in Inter.. only difference is the league.. Those games I have seen he’s not outstanding but you get the chill every time the other team attack.. he’s positioning is wrong and he’s lazy in the home work..
So it’s pretty clear that LaLiga is less tactical and Kondogbia is to stupid player to succeed in Serie A.. Even if I really wanted him to succeed in Inter.. But that’s the truth.. money in the pool…
