Inter coach Luciano Spalletti and his colleague at Chievo Veron, Rolando Maran, have decided to field the following 22 players in today’s Serie A fixture at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district, kick-off scheduled for 15.00 CET.
With Joao Miranda and Roberto Gagliardini suspended and Matias Vecino picking up an injury in last week’s fixture away against Cagliari, Spalletti has been forced to make three changes to the Nerazzurri team. Andrea Ranocchia makes his first start in 12 months replacing Miranda in the middle of defence, Marcelo Brozovic replaces Gagliardini whilst Joao Mario is back in the starting lineup instead of Vecino.

WE should also get some top notch reinforcements in January if are still top of the table by then. a good cb (gimenez) a decent midfielder (VIdal for the right amount of money) and a decent Icardi replacement (Gameiro ???)

Honestly..our midfield today is high quality and in an offensive home game like this it is actually better to play without Gaglia and with players like Jm or Brozo.
I’m willing to bet that we’ll see Eder instead of Karamoh or Pinamonti, even if the score stays the same or even improves. This was one of the major shots against Spal even at Roma. Never trusted his younger players.

If it wasn’t going to be against Juventus, then he certainly would have a headache. But I think he’ll just stick to the tried and tested Vecino-Gaglia in mid.
I feel like it will be very hard for us to break down their defence with that midfield, but maybe he’ll start with that to get a foothold in the game and spring Brozo early in the second half
Gaglia has not been great in the past few matches IMO.
But I think against a strong team like Juve, you need a mid like Gagli to sit deep and make interceptions. He was good against Napoli, wasn’t he? Just my 2 cents on this.
