Tuttosport reports that Inter officials have met with Javier Pastore’s agent, Marcelo Simonian for a second time in the hope of making progress towards an agreement between the player and club.

The process seems to be an uphill battle for Inter however. PSG are hoping to make the deal an outright purchase of the Argentine, while Inter are hoping to get a loan deal first. Tuttosport also reports that Argentina’s manager, Jorge Sampaoli could influence the deal so that Pastore ends up in Milan.

With the transfer window open for another week, there is still a lot of time for Inter to try and land the 28-year-old, who has 18 months remaining on his current contract in the French capital. A move to Inter can not yet be ruled out and sporting directors, Piero Ausilio and Walter Sabatini plan to meet yet again with Pastore’s agent to further discuss the situation.
