Sky Sport journalist Andrea Paventi has analysed Inter’s ongoing problems in the full back department ahead of this weekend’s clash between Inter and third bottom side SPAL.
“The full backs have become a rather big puzzle for Inter manager Luciano Spalletti. Inter has invested a lot in the summer on the full backs. One is playing and is doing so quite well in Joao Cancelo, while the other, Dalbert, costing almost €28 million including bonuses, is not. In the summer with his arrival the Nerazzurri seemed to have solved the problem at left back, but for now the former Nice player has failed to win a starting spot in Spalletti’s team.”
Paventi concluded by revealing who he feels Spalletti will go with at left back when the Nerazzurri travel to Ferrara for Sunday’s lunchtime kick-off at the Stadio Paolo Mazza.
“The favourite to start on the left against SPAL would be Danilo D’Ambrosio.”
Santon is the best wing back in the world and could be better than Ronaldo on the wing. Santon for Capitano!
we should give Dalbert a chance against SPAL
I still believe he’s better than Naga, Santon and D’ambro, just needs the chance to show himself like Cancelo.
Dalbert has played more minutes than Cancelo .
Also has had more training sessions and adapting time.. whatever …than Cancelo.
The difference is :
One is good .
One is not.
Cancelo has potential. Just don’t make him another waste
I hope we exercise the option to buy cancelo. Judging by recent performances He has class
The buying option is too expensive wich is 35 mln
35M is nothing compared to 28M of Dalbert as He is way better than Dalbert.
28m of dalbert is ausilo’s stupidity. But i dont think cancelo value is over 30 mln
we can afford it next year, if we qualified to UCL
I dont understand how a 28 mil player cant start over santon and nagatomo
