Our midfield is not only lacking of quality players, but also our current ones seem soooo tired (see for example Borja, who from 60′ on he couldn’t keep the ball and play it with certainty). Candreva showed his well known recently poor performance, and Perisic is been frustrating between winger and false striker roles.. But, today, i think, it was Spalleti who lost the match. He saw that in the second half Spal was getting more and more dangerous through the midfield and was capable of holding the pressure deep in the field. He wasted too long to make his subs and to reinforce the midfield, with a defendind midfielder or with a playmaker-like player who could deliver the ball forward with creativity and more accuracy.
