La Gazzetta dello Sport also confirms Sevilla’s offer of €1+28 million for Marcelo Brozović, in the form of a loan with option to buy. The Croatian has given the green light for the deal but Luciano Spalletti has vetoed the move unless Inter can find a suitable replacement.

The priority candidate was Lobotka from Celta Vigo but the asking price is too high for Inter, who are still bound by FFP restrictions. So attention has been turned to Bissouma (Lille), Wendel (Sporting CP) and Mbia (born in 1986) who has an expiring contract with Hebei China Fortune, making him the easiest solution.

Inter have also been linked to Cyprien (Nice), William Carvalho (Sporting CP), Fabian Ruiz (Real Betis) and Manuel Fernandes (Lokomotiv Moscow).

If selling Brozovic is Inter’s solution to getting Javier Pastore then whoever they sign to directly replace Marcelo would have to be done in the form of a loan.
