As revealed last night by FcInterNews.it, Inter is now leading the race to sign Racing Club sensation, Lautaro Martínez. This has also been confirmed by La Gazzetta dello Sport, who explain how the Nerazzurri are making definitive progress on the future of the young Argentine striker.
“All under the direction of vice-president, Javier Zanetti and Racing technical secretary Diego Milito, the deal would officially close in July for a figure of around €15 million plus bonuses”. We are down to the final details.
If Inter are able to sign the latest Argentine prodigy ahead of the likes of Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid, among others, it would be a great testament to the working relationship between Zanetti and Milito, who played and won trophies together at Inter.
We can remain unsure of how Lautaro would fit into the team, but players of his potential do not come around very often so it’s best to sign him first, before any more competition takes serious interest.
Inter problem is buying talented player but no one in the club now will be role model for talented player!!! JM and gabionegoal is talented player but they”work” with mediocre player and they become mediocre player or worst… if you buy 2 or 3 talented player you must have 2 or 3 world class player so talented player can learn from them… this guy talented but if we sell icardi and keep eder he become “eder”.. icardi become icardi right now because he learn from milito… skriniar learn from miranda…
I think the key to any young talented player at any club is the belief the manager gives you. This means game time. We never saw the best of both the mentioned players as most managers didn’t give them enough minutes on the pitch. J Mario excelled, when we first bought him, De Boer was manager and we played a 4-3-3 which suits Mario best. Gabigol needed patience and more game time, constanly changing managers and those managers needing results instantly to keep a job doesnt help in a players growth process, but obviously no manager should pick a player if he doesn’t deserve to play based on what you see in training, I’m hoping after this loan he and Mario will come back more mature and ready to fight for a place.

— just note the way he plays; he passes the ball as soon he gets it !
one or two touches maximum (if he doesn’t decide to dribble) and most of times forward, into opponents field. it makes the game dynamic and quicker, the game flows naturally.
to me, he is a very interesting player and a young one.
it is not impossible that he could become the next slovakian success at inter.
Are you sure? Better than Brozo or Pastore?
it is to be seen if he ever comes to inter ( I read his agent doesn’t like idea about going to inter :-(, but I have feeling he has better passing quality than brozović (and I am croatian, as brozo is ! 😉 and he is younger than pastore and his career is on the rise, not on its way down, he also have space to improve and become even better.
I agree we should be looking at players that are suited to one-two touch football who play forward passes rather than all of our 1st team players who pass sideways or backwards. We need someone who can play a killer pass as well in the centre of the pitch. As I mentioned previously Hakim Ziyech would be a great signing for a winger as he has this passing quality and crucially can cross. Can you think of anyone who can play a killer pass as well as plays one-two touch football? Jean Seri from Nice is quality as well as he has these attributes.
wasim, sorry for my late response.
I watched Hakim Ziyech on youtube and I agree he is a great talent. very precise long ball, unpredictable dribbling, nice solutions/passes on small and crowded place … yet, I feel sorry that inter do not appreciate such sort of players… it is sad.
