These are delicate days for Luciano Spalletti, who must work tirelessly to find a solution to Inter’s result crisis and being having to constantly clarify his comments in a conversation with Roma fans after their fixture against Inter.

In these last few weeks Spalletti has being experimenting, in order to get his team back to winning ways. The Tuscan born technician finds himself in a very difficult situation after having stated a few weeks ago that the project was a long term one, it now seems as if the pressure is on, since after before the match against Crotone, he stated that conclusions would be drawn at the end of the season, as emphasised by TuttoSport.

It should be made clear that it is not Spalletti’s intention to leave but he does ask for change after recent disappointment in the the transfer marker. In which he asked for a midfielder similar to Torreira but too much energy was wasted in Pastore so it did not happen. Furthermore he openly spoke about potential “moles” in the club leaking information and also Suning must find a  way to keep their promises of investment after the Chinese government began blocking investment into foreign countries, especially in Football.

There must be a rekindling between Spalletti and Suning. Both Zhang and Spalletti want to succeed at the club but there limitations on investing at the moment. However, if Inter qualify for the Champions League, there will no doubt be more money to spend and Spalletti would be able to continue building a squad in his image, as began one Summer ago in Brunico. As Trapattoni said: “Inter is a centrifuge”.
