At a press conference held today at the Fairmont Hotel in Jakarta, Javier Zanetti, Inter’s vice president explained the importance of the Inter Academy project landed yesterday in Indonesia.

The legendary Inter player who has been appointed the club’s Vice-President for life began by saying that: “All the kids love to play football and I’m very happy. Thanks to Inter Academy, Indonesian boys and girls will be able to reach their dreams.”

The captain of the 2010 all conquering treble side continued by laying out the objectives of the project saying that: “The goal of Inter Academy is to share training methods and train educators and children in different countries, respecting the rules of football and maintaining high moral standards.”

In conclusion Zanetti underlined the importance of the relationship between Inter and the country of Indonesia where Inter has a huge following: “This is an important step in the development of football in Indonesia, a country that has supported the Nerazzurri with great enthusiasm.”
