Spalletti: “Milan? We Are More Concerned With Roma & Lazio”

Luciano Spalletti spoke with Rai Sport after the 0-0 in the Derby della Madonnina: “We did not lack anything, not to win, I had to field a balanced team and our attacks had to be continuous, which we did. Sometimes we manage to score more difficult chances and bring a result home, perhaps we were less daring, we couldn’t get what we wanted in the end.

A derby which was largely dominated by the Nerazzurri, with Mauro Icardi being the one negative of the night for a change.

“Icardi? He’s fine, he made it a good game and is convinced that he has the strength to get fourth place,” Spalletti explained.

The manager concluded by discussing the gap between Inter and Milan.

“A margin of eight points on Milan? With all due respect to Milan, we are more concerned with Roma and Lazio. I know that we’re in here at the Derby and there is a special attraction but we are focused on our football and our aims.”
